Tesla Model 3 Sunshade Roof, Magshade for Tesla Model 3 to Block UV and Keep Cooling, Foldable Model 3 Sunshade for Glass Roof, Tesla Model 3 Accessories 2023 2022 2021

Having seen a favourable review on YouTube I bought these sunshades in the hope that they would stop the car from overheating when the sun comes out. My first impression was favourable as they appeared to be well-made and easy to fold up into a small circle again. However, contrary to the claim that the pair “seamlessly integrates with the glass roof” when I held up the front shade to the glass there was a ½” (13mm) gap on one long edge, regardless of where I placed it. There was also a poor attempt to match the lining fabric colour on the roof structure inside, despite the claim that “The color of Magshade matches the interior, giving it an OEM look”. No, it doesn’t! I immediately sent them back as they looked out of place and didn’t match the car’s clean aesthetic style at all. All very disappointing.

Item says it’s a perfect fit, but there are plenty of gaps all around which let light in. If these didn’t exist, the sun shade would be great.

I purchased this product for my 2024 Tesla Model 3 recently. It was delivered on time by Amazon Prime and in mint condition. With all the glass in the car, the interior temps go well over 100F. With this sunshade, the interior is about 10F cooler and keeps the interior shaded from the sun overhead. The magnetic clips are easy to install into the headliner, there's a plastic tool for prying open tighter spaces. The shade is in 2 pieces, one for the front and another for the rear. The shade has a shiny metalized side that faces the sunny roof. The wire hoop in the rim attaches nicely to the magnets. It's a really nice fit over the glass. I've had it for a few weeks and driven over bumpy roads. The sunshade has stayed in place throughout. Very nice product. It comes with a pouch for storing the sunshade. I will keep my sunshade in place till the fall. By venting the car with slightly opened windows and using the sunshade, the car stays only a couple degrees hotter than outside air temps. Without the sunshade I had to run the fans and vent the car to get it to 100F.

This Model 3 Magshade was easy to install. I previously bought the Model Y version and that was also easy to install. The only downside for this one is that since the rear shade does not have a 4th clip, it sags a little bit. This might be one of the best designed shades out there.
