Prince: Purple Rain: A Coloring Book

I was expecting a coloring book with a favorite subject, but was not expecting all the quotes and wonderful bits of information also spread throughout the images of Prince by the people who knew him. Highly recommend for any fan. This was the most surprising value and gift that would definitely be appreciated by anyone who loved this legendary man.

I ordered this for my sister's birthday gift. She is a huge Prince fan and has been her whole life. I wanted to get her something that she could enjoy when she's bored and wants something to do with her hands maybe when watching TV or something. The book is extremely high quality paper, the written portions are great, the coloring portions are also fantastic. You get to see a lot of iconic recreations of photos of prints that you can color yourself. I definitely recommend this to a Prince fan or someone buying a gift for a Prince fan.

This was a great find! Every Prince Fan should have this on the shelf to take out for reference or just for leisure time coloring. I bought it as a gift and it was really well received.

This book is filled with goodness. I really like that there is text to go along with each illustration. It was a great way to break up the imagery so it's not just back to back black and white, lines and spaces. There's still plenty to color here, and mostly very good illustrations at that. "When Doves Cry" and other Revolution era likenesses are the best sketches but they're all classic images, sketched from album covers, famous photos, etc. As a total Prince fan, I'm looking forward to the hours of therapy this collection will provide.

I got this for my mom for Christmas. It was one of many Prince gifts I got her, since she is the biggest Prince fan in the world! I was so impressed with not only the quality but the diversity of the coloring pages! Basically a page to represent each era of his music! My mother was thrilled, she colored a page on the first night she had it!

I love the fun facts that go along with each picture. Prince was such a creative artist and this coloring book allows one to be creative with designing his outfits. Any true Prince fan would appreciate this coloring book.
