Mine didn't shrink. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low

I wouldn't call them wide. They are pretty straight legged and stretchy

Does the waist roll down? I'm overweight with a stomach

I'm a bit overweight myself and noticed it rolls down where my gut line hits it but everywhere else its has some give. Still the most comfortable pair of boxers I own.
