Works great! Shipped quickly. Easy to assemble. Our pool is in full sun most of the day and here in FL the sun can be brutal. We've tried staging umbrellas around to provide some shelter from the sun with moderate success. This umbrella floating base is a welcome addition. It was easy to assemble. I used about 30# of play sand and added water as I filled the jug ballast finally topping off the last 1/2" with water. Every part fit perfectly and seems well made. I added a cheap 6.5 beach umbrella and set it in the pool. A little breezy today 5-10 mph and even without the extension it is surprisingly stable. Overall this seems to be an excellent product and looking forward to using it on thos hot sunny days!

This is a BRILLIANT product! Our winds in Arizona often put our patio umbrella on the roof of our house, but this has stayed put in our pool for the couple of weeks we've had it. Provides the much needed shade in our pool that otherwide has NO shade, again, brilliant. You must buy the base and their which we filled the base with compacted gravel from our yard, then topped with water. very easy to set up. The umbrella stays secured to the base by a lip on the pole that the base secures above. That lip is why you must use their umbrella. We literally can lift it out of the pool by the umbrella and it won't separate from the base. Bought one for my sister for her birthday and she loves it! My friends who come over love it too! CUSTOMER SERVICE is top notch, by far the best we've ever experienced! CONS: The cupholders are a joke, maybe an inch deep and wider than any beverage we have... they need to make them deeper. Confused why we could buy the separate pieces, but not the single 2-piece item listed on Amazon as one purchase. That item is oddly "out of stock".

I normally only get motivated to post bad reviews but I loved this so much I'm here for a positive one. Super easy to assemble. I filled it with crushed stone and water. Now, in the high heat of mid day, I sit in a floating chair with my legs wrapped around the submerged portion and just float. It's wonderful!

Great umbrella base. Cup holders are wide and shallow. Would be better if the fit a beer or soda can. I wish I did not have to buy the umbrella separately

This item for us in south Texas was a game changer. I usually don’t get in the pool much because there is not much shade in the area so this product changed that. Product is stable and works as expected. I used small pebbles in the canister to weigh it down. The table feature is great too.

Really good quality easy to put together. Get a bag of pea gravel might have to wash it before you put it in the base. I took a funnel after I washed the gravel and filled the base easy to do.

I bought this back in January to summer use, when setting this up this week the table was balanced then the next morning I noticed the table had taken on water and was leaning. I tried everthing to level the base; adjust the weight in base, made sure all items were tight. Still leans. Out of their return policy and trying to contact the company is a nightmare just to replace the base.
