As someone already working hands-on with UAV systems, I found this book to be a solid and well-structured reference that ties together the full drone development workflow in a practical way. It covers the essentials clearly, including multicopter dynamics, propulsion sizing, flight controller integration, sensor interfaces, and the real-world ecosystem around ArduPilot/PX4 and GCS tools like AeroGCS and Mission Planner. What I liked most is that it doesn’t stay theoretical. It connects the concepts directly to real-world components and workflows. The chapter flow is logical, and it’s useful both as a read-through and as a quick reference when you want to revisit specific topics like firmware stacks, tuning concepts, mission planning, or flight log analysis. I found this book to be covering the maximum content required for the development of drones, it's components and use cases. The book cover wide aspects of the drone industry and a perfect beginnees guide. Recommended !!!!

Best way to learn about drones.

A niche book to purchase for beginners who wants to dive into drones. The book has detailed concept and explanations which are helpful for beginners to understand. It also goes through the hardware and software stack required to build and fly drones from scratch Worth purchase ! !

The preface of this book says: “This book is for beginner-level drone engineers…”. If you start your drone-learning journey with this book, chances are that you may be inclined to abandon the voyage early. This is a poorly written text, with exceedingly unclear, verbosely and repetitive explanations. There is no shortage of grammatical errors either. Definition of color photographs is blurred and/or out of focus. For the price, overall publishing quality should be considerably better. In summary, a most undidactical text and a regrettable purchase.
