ErGear Electric Standing Desk 100 x 60cm 4 Memory with Splice Board

I needed a small, compact desk to fit into a cubby hole for working from home, and I also wanted the option of a standing desk without spending a fortune. After seeing generally good reviews, I decided to take a chance on this one, despite a few comments about assembly and stability concerns. Assembly Assembly was surprisingly straightforward. My partner and I are both not particularly handy with DIY, but we managed it in around an hour. Instructions were clear enough and it was mostly just a lot of screws. We didn’t use a power drill, even though it was suggested, and it was still totally fine to build by hand. Build and design One thing mentioned in other reviews is the join in the desktop (as it comes in two pieces). Yes, you can faintly see the line if you look closely, but in my opinion it’s a non-issue and doesn’t affect use or appearance day to day. The size is perfect for what I needed. It comfortably fits both my PC monitor and laptop, even though I went for the smaller version. Electric standing function The electric height adjustment is very easy to use. It runs smoothly and quietly, and the height range is more than enough for me at 5'7", with plenty of extra room for someone taller as well. Stability It feels solid in normal use. There is a very slight wobble if you’re typing quite aggressively, but nothing distracting or concerning. I wouldn’t lean heavily on it, but for everyday working it feels stable and reliable. Overall I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far I’m genuinely impressed. Easy setup, good functionality, and great value for the price. Would definitely recommend if you want a compact standing desk without spending a lot.

Absolutely amazing adjustable desk! It's incredibly strong and steady, with no wobble at all, and it works perfectly. I managed to get it on offer, and for the price, the quality is outstanding. It looks and feels like a much more expensive desk. Assembly was straightforward, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality adjustable desk at a great price.

Excellent desk, which is well built and easy to put together; it just needs a bit of patience and the right tools. For the price, this has been a great investment. The desk arrived very neatly packed and securely packaged. I'm enjoying the option to sit or stand - and the small version we have is plenty enough for a 21" screen (27" will be no problem), mice, keyboards, drinks etc. The build quality and instructions are very good. I agree with the other reviews that although the instructions looked complex, step-by-step they were easy to follow and the various screws and parts were very clearly labelled and packaged making them easy to find; at each step. The desk took less than an hour to build and that was taking my time finding the right tools. Noting the caution from other reviews, I was very careful with the last major step attached the table surface to the legs: I found that to get a good fit you need exactly the right tools including a very good power-screwdriver with lots of torque (our small one wasn't enough) as you only get one chance to bed in the screws to the underside of the top surface - with the right tools (not just ones that might work) - you can build this desk well and it is a solid build. There's a tiny bit of wobble when typing or writing hard - I sense this is due to the smaller size and the larger ones will wobble less. The ability to adjust is easy, turned it on and it worked straight away with a handy height counter; and the four memory options are great: two for adults, two for kids; sitting and standing. The headphone hooks on each end are very handy; and the cable management is an unexpected benefit. It sits solidly on our carpeted floor. My only minor gripe is the power cable could be more generous: long enough to plug into a wall directly behind the desk (even at full height) but not to a wall off to the side - for that it will need an extension cable. After a day of use, I am very grateful to be standing vs. many hours sitting and with a better view of the garden! I would buy again.

Overall a good standing desk if you use a bit of DYI solutions during assembly. What's really good: 1. Starting from packing, came up packed neat and tidy, well protected, everything clearly marked and surprisingly good quality assembly booklet. 2. The metal construction feels really solid & heavy for the size. 3. Except one thing - very easy assembly. (check below) 4. Very convenient movement, with 4 positions memory with fine tuning and electronic hight display which is also quite nice to know/have. What's not perfect & needs improved (for buyer and seller): 1. I believe the table top is split in 2 sides in order to make overall shipping box smaller. Now this would not be a big deal if the holes drilled in the sides would match the wooden dowels provided! I did not take a picture but holes are drilled considerably wider or dowels are smaller diameter! So the way they come - you get your table top a lose 2-piece shaky thing instead of one piece. I did not have other dowels so had to add some reinforced tape around the dowels to make sure they fit snuggly inside the pre-drilled holes. This was quite sad and time consuming as everything else was fitting/matching well. 2. Note, that once you screw in the table to the metal frame, if for whatever reason you need to unscrew it - the table is kind of single use in this regard. Because it's not real wood - it is crumbling upon unscrewing. 3. In my case, I took the 100 x 60 size, and despite solid metal base, in standing position, the table becomes tall and narrow (100 cm only) which makes it slightly less stable. It's not too bad, but if you'll be typing an emotion email - be sure you'll see your screen shaking :). Saying that - since I took the narrowest size, probably the wider sizes would be more stable in this regard. If the seller contacts the manufacturer to ensure that pre-driller holes and provided dowels match perfectly - this table deserves 5 stars 100%. It is great value once assembled, but assembly is also important and I believe if some people would assemble it the way it comes - they wouldn't find it great. This is an amazing desk. I've just finished building it and the instructions were super simple, the quality of the product seems really high end and putting it together was quick (all in all around 40 minutes on my own). I thought I would be annoyed with the seam between the 3 panels that make up the desk-top, but actually I have no issue with it. The setting to a custom height for the 1-4 buttons is a nice plus. Motor is REALLY quiet bearing in mind the weight I have. I got the 120cm version and I have 2 x 24" monitors and they're a perfect fit. I did buy some cable management trays (self-adhesive) to the underside of the desk at the back and some split sleeving and it's tidied up the cables at the back proper well, as the desk doesn't come with any, so if you have issues with cables showing, I would totally recommend purchasing them too. Overall, really happy with my purchase!

This desk is amazing, especially for its price! It works exactly as advertised and even comes with high quality instructions for assembly printed in a glossy paper booklet which was a nice touch. The packaging was also excellent with everything neatly laid out for easy assembly. I got the 120×60 model and it fits 2x 24inch monitors and a 14.5 inch laptop with some angling! So if you have a similar setup and don't mind everything not sitting straight then you'll be fine! (See pics) Pros - - very sturdy and solid metal frame. It has a very reassuring weight to it! - very easy to assemble, I did it myself in under and hour and I wasnt rushing. (I am 6ft with long arms so that probably helped! - very quiet motor considering its small size and exposed nature. - gorgeous colour! Cons - The panel is a little thin however given the price point I can't see this being avoided, but it certainly does feel sturdy enough. - The motor is a little slow, but the manual does warn that continuous non stop usage can lead to overheating followed by a short period of inactivity to cool down, so with this in mind the speed is to be expected. - The surface comes in 2 panels which don't sit perfectly flush with each other and there is a slight bump on one side. This isn't visual but you can feel it when running your hand over. - The controls are great however there is no child lock feature which can be an issue for some. I simple switch it off at the wall when the kids are over but I do admit that it will quickly become a pain. All in all, I love this desk and for the cost, even at full retail, it is outstanding value. 5/5. Note - the cracking sound as the desk raises was it clipping against some papers on the side and not the motor! (In the video) Also, I added a cable management tray to this desk, it does not come with one.

Love this desk. Great value for £99. I was looking for ages at desks that were much more expensive than this one but this one does the job perfectly. I got the 120cm one. I have space for my laptop and a desk top. I may even be able to squeeze another desktop on here for when i need more screen space. Easy to put together. Took about 45 mins. Petit Female. The transmission rod didn’t quite line up to slot in snugly so at this stage I connected the controller and gently clicked the desk to rise by an increment at a time until the teeth slotted into place. Then I removed controller and continued following the instructions, which were clear and concise and easy to follow. I didn’t fit the desktop as was instructed either, as I’m single and was assembling in a small area - I would have struggled to turn the desk back over on my own without causing damage to the surrounding area or even the desk itself I thin, so I connected the desk top pieces together on top of the base, in situ. Then I placed some heavy items carefully on the desktop to stop it sliding around, raised the desk all the way up, and then fixed the desktop to the base from underneath. All in all well chuffed with it and pleased I could do it myself without having to ask for help. Well worth the money.

Excellent quality and great value for money. The desk is sturdy, well-built, and feels like it will last. Assembly was straightforward and much easier than other standing desks I’ve owned. It does have a slight wobble at its maximum height, but that’s something I’ve experienced with most standing desks and it doesn’t affect day-to-day use. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Oh my god the screws are so bad ! Almost impossible to make a clean build without an electronic screwdriver. Anyways I damaged them all in the process so it will be a single use table. I don’t recommend.

Very nice looking desk with plenty of space. It was easy to assemble in less than 45 minutes. My only complaint is that it moves more than my old desk when in the elevated position but overall I'm very happy with it.

WARNING! 1) The top is made of 2 pieces. The pictures hide this fact and you have to look really hard to see that. The pictures also made the seem to be very faint but no matter how careful you are in putting it together, the split line is very prominent. 2) The top surface is very thin, only about 15mm/0.6" thick which is why the table shakes quite a bit. I can see this as I am typing this review. 3) One of the most annoying thing is that the power adapter has loud coil whining noise. It's so loud that I can hear it even when watching a movie. The good thing about this desk is that it works and it was easy to put together. You get what you pay for so buy it if all of the above are not deal breakers. UPDATE: The sellers reached out to me to replace the bad power adapter but I already fixed it so I declined. It's good that they try to make things right. Again overall, if you're ok with the split desktops then this would be a good deal.

For the very affordable price, I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting much out of this desk. Yeah, the material of the desktop isn’t the toughest, high quality material, but that was already expected with the price. Everything else about the desk however, exceeds expectations! It’s fairly straightforward to put together. The raising/lowering mechanism works flawlessly. Pre-programming heights is a breeze. I like this desk a lot. If you’re good to it, it should be good to you too.
