I purchased this product based on other reviews. Prior to writting a review I decided to use it for a week or so. I am wired kind of tight so sleep at times is difficult, especially the 3:30AM wake up. In addition I would wake up in the morning with adrenalin flowing. I do use a CPAP machine with good numbers so the apnea was/is not the cause. Ok, I go to sleep within 30 minutes of taking the Melatonin. The 3:30 wakeup still occurs, however, in short order I am back to sleep. The best result from this product is that I wake up relaxed without adrenalin flowing. It took about three days to get the full effect and after a week in a good place, most mornings. So yes I like this product. You can bet I have tried many combinations of melatonin through the years and this one is a keeper.

I’ve been taking these melatonin for years, but recently started buying them from Amazon. I get 2 bottles here for what 1 bottle costs at my local grocery store. Always helps me fall asleep and stay asleep without making me feel tired and groggy in the morning!

I don't think these work as well as natures made brand melatonin vitamins they're like a cheaper knockoff with less of the active ingredient than what they say on the label.

My husband uses this on occasion and compared to a "normal" melatonin he tried before, this one seems to work better as it doesn't all release at once and then be done.

For several years now, I have relied on Nature’s Bounty 5mg Melatonin for going to sleep. When it was time to re-order, I saw their new, improved version, which claimed dual action: Put someone to sleep with 50% immediate action and then keep them asleep with 50% delayed action. It sounded worth trying. It did not put me to sleep, not even any yawns or heavy eyelids, nothing. Such a letdown. But I didn’t give up. I checked and found that 10mg was not dangerous, so the next night I took one of the regular, single-action 5mg gelcaps along with one of the new dual-action 5mg tablets. It did put me to sleep, just as the regular gelcap alone had been doing, but at about 4 a.m., I was wide awake. Then, I had another idea. Taking 2 of the new 5mg dual-action pills together would immediately give me 50% of the combined 10mg for going to sleep. And the other 50% would kick in later to keep me asleep…IT WORKED!!! I went to sleep and stayed asleep for a little over 7 hours, the most uninterrupted sleep I’ve gotten in quite a while. I am now feeling well-rested, non-groggy, and very happy.

Works perfectly! I took two tablets as recommended by another user, and they really helped. Great product.

Don’t compare it with sleeping pills. Can be taken to improve sleep cycle or treat insomnia. Good thing is i don’t see any side effect.

Effective for insomnia and works better than NOW brand melatonin.
