Clear explanations with just enough information to get started at learning
I like that the topics are presented clearly and without complications unnecessary for beginners. This simplicity makes it easy to get an overview of what needs to be mastered. At some points it seems a bit oversimplified, but I speak more than one language and have an advanced degree in linguistics, so my view is probably not typical for a beginner at learning German.

Disorganized for adjective declensions
In spite of all the other positive reviews, I did not find this useful. My first interest was to learn (re-learn) the adjective declensions (weak, mixed, and strong). This is presented as a hodge-podge with (to me) illogical table set-up (e.g. "nominative genitive dative accusative, rather than n, a, d, g) with no attempt to illustrate the patterns. "just memorize it". If you look on line, you will readily find much clearer and more organized presentations. I have only glanced at the rest of the book--this really turned me off to it. I note that there are no exercises either--you have to buy a separate exercise book. Seriously!

Little help in learning German grammar.
This is a very confusing course on German grammar. The lessons are complicated, much information is omitted, and the examples are unhelpful

Meh
Not bad overall but not as expected and not with sufficient examples and flow, imo.
