Great book for young anxiety sufferers
My 9 year old daughter benefited from this book when going through a period of extreme anxiety. It was recommended by her doctor. At her age she couldnโt understand the feeling she had. This book described anxiety in a way she understood. We ordered a few different books and this was the only book she wanted to continue reading and working on because she actually found it helpful. It was such a relief for me as a parent! We are now about 6 months since her first anxiety issue and now when she has anxiety she can recognize it and say โI think Iโm nervous for basketball tomorrow and thatโs why I donโt feel goodโ rather than โI donโt feel good I canโt go to basketballโ. I recommend this book to any parent who has a child with anxiety.

Helpful, but better for older kids
This book has been really helpful for introducing my daughter to tools for managing anxiety. It breaks things down in a way thatโs easy to follow and gives kids strategies they can actually use. That said, there are some words and concepts my 8-year-old didnโt fully understand on her own, so Iโd recommend it more for ages 10 and upโor younger kids with a parent reading along and explaining. Still a great resource!

A lifesaver!
This has helped my daughter work through something she's been very anxious about lately. It's taught her (and me!) skills that I hope she'll apply to other worries in her life as well. I would absolutely recommend it!

Tools for anxiety are priceless
I have a 9 year old that was starting to struggle with bad anxiety in general and specifically separation anxiety. This gave her some great tools for the first week of school. It was an amazing process to see her work through things. I deal with anxiety myself and wish I would have had something like this at her age. Iโm extremely thankful for this.

Definitely recommend for worried little ones!
This book has been excellent! Our 7 year old daughter has such anxiety and nothing was really helping until we got this book. You need to work through it properly a chapter at a time but the techniques and explanations have been really really helpful for her and us. Definitely recommend if your little one is struggling with daily worries.

A must buy!!! Informative and helpful
Fantastic!!! I purchased this shortly after my child was diagnosed with anxiety. We started working on it together before therapy started and parent info sessions began. We BOTH learned a lot and we enjoyed the time together we set aside to do the workbook.
