4.5 Stars – Great Device, but Wish It Had a USB-C Option The BENFEI USB-C Hub has been a solid addition to my setup, providing the essential connections I need for my Samsung S23U DeX setup and other devices. It works seamlessly for connecting a portable monitor via HDMI, along with a keyboard and mouse. I originally purchased this hub to use with a Dell 14 Portable Monitor (P1424H), but I ended up returning that monitor because it only supported USB-C/DisplayPort input, and we couldn't find a workable HDMI-to-USB-C adapter. Unfortunately, converting HDMI to USB-C isn’t easily done because it requires specific support for DisplayPort Alt Mode, which most hubs, including this one, don’t offer. One small downside is that this hub doesn’t come with a USB-C output option. While this isn't a huge issue for me, having that option would have made the hub more versatile and avoided some of the frustrations I had with the purchasing/returning headache with the Dell monitor. Despite that, it performs exactly as expected and has been reliable in my daily use. Overall, it’s a great, affordable solution for anyone needing a compact, multi-port Dex hub with HDMI support.

This works great! Everything connected without issue. Every single port worked on first try and I was able to connect my laptop, extra monitor, wired mouse and keyboard plus external camera for work meetings. Excellent value for the price! Don’t hesitate this is a solid product that works extremely well. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend this product.

Wowza! Attaching a tablet or phone to other things w/o spending over $50? Sign me up! Fruit company should feel ashamed of their overpriced and limited-functionality dongles. Naughty, greedy. This doodad checks a lot of marks. The bag was a really cute bonus too. No issues of connectivity with MIDI devices (music keyboards, etc) Pretty happy with it. Metal casing feels solid. Compatible with everything I’ve tried thus far. Would recommend

If I could give 10 stars I would. This device allowed me to connect my old phone with a broken screen to my TV and retrieve 31,100 pictures/videos. I will forever be thankful to have this item.

Purchased for traveling with a steam deck, works fantastic was able to just plug it right in. All the ports working great, tested with keyboard+mouse, controller and hdmi, even charging while in use. Hub gets a little warm after a while but nothing concerning imo

Nice, can connect to and from almost anything , I use to connect from my Mac book to the tv or my iPad to my mouse and keyboard. I love this thing so much and it comes in a cute little soft bag that makes it easy to store and not get lost. The speed is great I’ve never had any problems with the connection or cord length and it gets a little hot sometimes but never has been a problem for me and is very easy to use I highly recommend

Unbeatable value for the money! This works perfectly as a USB hub for my Teenage Engineering OP-Z. - It powers/charges the OP-Z (when adding the external power) - I can have at least two devices connected to the OP-Z simultaneously with this (haven't tried with three because that is out of my use case. My Elektron Digitone controls and syncs the OP-Z via USB into the hub. And I can connect my DMX lights to the same hub and control them with my OP-Z. Also a bonus is that the HDMI out works perfectly with my Samsung S23.
