Pretty good trail cam option
I've decided to rewrite the review after further experience with the device and the company. I discovered that this camera does function relatively well as a trail cam, with some limitations. I've also added a star for great customer service. I'll update if I have issues. Pros.. - Uses your own sim card with no other monthly costs. While data cost can vary, I found a data card with 2GB/month for about $5/month and I only have to buy data 6 months at a time to get that deal. Sales on data vary, but I don't expect to pay over $6/month which currently buys 5GB/month which is probably twice what I would ever use. 2GB/month might be close if you and a buddy are checking the camera too often. - The camera produces up to 4k video (compared to "claimed" 2.5k of others), although, I typically use the lowest resolution to save data. But the higher resolution is there if i need it. - It comes with EIOT club SIM card, but I found other, less expensive options. - The camera is relatively simple to set up and use, (with the exception of the sim card). I did run into an issue where I had to reset the camera which required an inconvenient trip into the field, but it was an easy fix otherwise. - Depending on data needs, the device can be more economical compared to other trail cameras. I'm looking at $5-8/month vs $12-20/month for dedicated trail PTZ cameras. At one time, a 24month/50GB kiwi sim card was on sale for around $110. The kiwi website has similar sales at least initially, and you can purchase a 1GB 30 day card for $4-5 on Amazon to get started. For comparison, Spypoint charges $10/month for unlimited "photos" when you pay by the year. To be fair, these data cards are not "unlimited", but 2-3 GB/month should get you a LOT of video/pictures. - There is no limit on the number of videos as long as you have data. In other words, you see everything as long as you get it close enough to the action. There are times I get up to 2 dozen 10 second videos but only one, maybe 2 pics from my spypoint. The video really make a HUGE difference on what you see. For instance, the SpyPoint may have only picked up one or two animals when there were 5 to 15 that actually came thru. This is actually a really big deal when you see the difference. - You can see real time views of the field at ANY time....nice.. - You can set up notifications to know when there is activity. So you can nap while hunting...lol. - You can use it to see in the dark when night hunting and/or turn on the light if needed. I have discovered that the light rarely bothers the critters. The IR light obviously does not. - The rechargeable/solar setup means, no batteries to change out. Mine is set up in trees with limited direct sunlight, and so far, I've never seen it go below 90%. Most of the time, it stays around 100%. Not having the cost and inconvenience of changing batteries is a big plus. - You can share the device with your hunting buddies at no cost. However, they will be using data which could end up costing you a little more. In my initial field test, me and another guy used a little over 1GB in 20-25 days with semi regular viewing. Based on that experience, I think we could get by with 2 GB per month and see everything we want to see. - Connecting to and staying connected the camera is way more consistent than other trail ptz cameras that I have tried. - So far, the lens has not fogged up like other trial cameras, particularly in the mornings. Cons: - I had a little trouble setting up the sim card, but may have been me and not the camera. - The initial cost of the camera is high compared to other advertised trail ptz cameras, but the others have much higher data costs. Regular name brand trail cams can also be expensive, but their data can be higher also. - There is no external antenna, but so far, I've been able to get a cell signal, though weak. There was only one time that I could not connect that lasted for a few hours. But my camera is in the boondocks. - The EUFY app is HUGE. I wish it wasn't so big, but it is functional and relatively easy to navigate. - The motion sensitivity is rather limited. Motion has to be relatively close to trigger a capture. The example video shows pretty much the extent of its sensitivity. (Fyi...My videos are set for 10 second intervals, but you can do more or less). As long as you know where the animals will be, sensitivity shouldn't be a problem. Dedicated trail cams (e.g. Spypoint, Moultrie) are better at picking up distant motion. The other ptz trail cams' sensitivity are similar to this one. - I wish the AI could follow animals, not just humans and vehicles, although, not really an issue. - The camera is white, not camo, but this doesn't seem to be problem for the critters, and it is easily fixed with paint or camo tape. Overall, if it lasts, I think it is a better option than most fixed trail cams and dedicated ptz trail cams because: 1) It is cheaper in the long run; based on data costs; 2) It has better resolution; 3) You see everything not just snapshots. 4) Connecting is way more consistent than other ptz cameras I've tried. It could be improved if the motion sensitivity was greater and it followed animal motion. Perhaps that may be a firmware update in the future. Nonetheless, I do think this is a good purchase and a ptz camera is a superior trail cam option... Again...I'll update if I have issues.

Can I leave 10 stars?
My home needs to be completely rebuilt after a fire last year and when they start I wanted a way to watch while I would be at work. No electricity at the home, so no WIFI, and I didn't really want to ask my neighbors to use their WIFI. After looking at a bunch of "game" cameras I finally found this camera and I am so glad that I did! When it arrived it came with 2 micro sim cards, one a tiny bit too large for the camera. I contacted customer service via email on this & they replied quickly, but they were unsure as well. So the unused one sits in the box still. Once the sim card is installed then just download the app to your phone and it sort of walks you through what you need to do, there are no other instructions that come with the camera. I am technically challenged but I did get through it just fine. Then I had to mount it somewhere. We have a telescoping flagpole in the front yard and I was able to rig it to that. The camera came with a mount for attaching to wood, but it had holes, so I was able to use wire to attach it to the pole. Same with the solar panel. So it worked out well, even though it's a little bit crooked. It would be great if EUFY sold a mount that could fit around a round flagpole, and maybe they do, I never did ask. Once mounted and using the app I turned on the camera and am so pleased by the quality of the image! However it was always running in the background of my phone and I left it on all the time. So literally within 3 days the data that came with the sim card completely ran out and I had to buy more. Through the app I paid approx $13 for 2 MB of additional data that would last for 30 days. Then I decided to keep the camera OFF until I wanted to take a look at it. So that data lasted all month, and really I hardly used it. But then it expired at 30 days so I had to buy more. The app sent a couple of messages near the end of the 30 days and I just bought more. There are all sorts of options to choose from as far as purchasing data as well, not just 2 MB or 30 days, there are all sorts of plans. If you're using this camera for constant security or to watch for wildlife you will go through data quite a bit. But if you just want to take a look now and again do what I do and simply turn it off and on again when you want. I did ask customer service how to slow down usage when on, and they are very helpful, but for me this was the easiest way. The camera will rotate almost all the way around as well as tilt down. And the quality is so good I can read the names on the sides of trucks that are in my driveway. Photos are of my front yard, not sure why I couldn't find "front yard" in the app, but I'm sure that was just user error. Even at night it works great using a light on the front of the camera. See photos. I'm thrilled with this camera and I highly recommend it and plan to purchase another one for the backyard as well.

Easy setup and more storage than expected
We purchased this camera to keep an eye on a construction project, and so far it has worked well. Setup was very easy, and I was able to use a T-Mobile SIM card from an extra phone line I already had instead of purchasing a separate data plan. One nice surprise was the included memory card. The listing said it came with a 32GB card, but mine actually included a 64GB card, which gives me twice the storage I expected. They may want to update the description because that makes it an even better value. It has been simple to use right out of the box. Iโll update the review after Iโve had more time to see how it performs long-term, but so far, so good.

Make Activity Zones Work!!!!
The camera is OK quality but pretty blurry for claiming 4K. Can't even read a license plate that's more than 10 feet away. But the one star is because I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to set activity zones that exclude the street because of too many motion detections. The system is infuriating. You have to shape one or two zones that have shape 1-2 zones that are straight line attached to 6 points. Everytime I click the point to move it the whole shape moves which of it hits an edge of the screen it shrinks. I even tried using my S Pen and the whole shape still moved. I have never seen a system this broke. The other issue is I invested in homebase and if that goes offline the camera is useless because it won't failover to WiFi. Makes no sense. *Update* Despite finally getting the street out of the activity zone the camera still triggers on every car that drives by. I have to leave it on full motion activation because it doesn't accurately identify people and animals so it was missing a lot. But now it records every reflection, shadow, and my car cover moving in the wind. I've set it to 30 seconds record, end early doesn't work as there is always still motion it's missing. It doesn't retrigger well either so I've missed a lot of people/animals moving around my property because I only see their initial movement. Example - FedEx just came to my house and threw an expensive package against my front door. The camera picked up the delivery driving sprinting towards my house and the truck driving away. What use is that?? I have Blink, Annke, and Tapo as well. The Annke is the oldest and crappy video quality but record 24/7 and just make a marker for motion events. That would be so much better but Eufy doesn't offer a 4K moveable camera with 24/7 recording. Kinda feel like I wasted a huge amount of money on this camera, the video doorbell/lock, and homebase with SSD. Sucks. The ease of installation is probably not worth the trade off of a real security system if something happens.

Overall Great Security Camera
I was in the market for a security camera that would be suitable for the construction site of a new home, that had no electricity nor Wi-Fi service in it. After lots of research I came across the Eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 after further examining the product I ordered it, and I don't regret it. I would rate this security camera 4 out of 5 stars because it was easy to set up and install, it has seamless connectivity, and some other amazing features. The setup took me less than 10 minutes all you must do is download the free Eufy Security app on your phone (compatible with iOS and Android) and follow the directions on the app. You do not even need to have Wi-Fi to set up the camera because, with the SIM card, you can practically set up the camera anywhere. The camera comes with almost everything you need to install it, the only things you will need to have is a screwdriver and maybe a ladder depending on where you would like to install it. Depending on the surface you wish to install it you might need some screws for example I installed them on siding, and it was a struggle to screw the screws in, so I had to get some screws for siding, but I guess it is different for everyone. Another good thing is the size of the camera. It is not too big but also not too small (approximately 4in.x4in.x6in.). It is a perfect size to where people can tell you have a security camera making intruders think before stepping foot on your property. Seamless connectivity allows the camera to continue operating even if you donโt have Wi-Fi. The camera comes with a SIM card, that you can activate when setting up the camera, it is compatible with 3 major US networks: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. The camera automatically selects the network with better connectivity to enhance its performance. It also comes with a 100MB of Trail data in 7 days. One downside would be that you must pay after the trial is over, kind of like a cellular plan, if you wish to continue using the SIM card. The SIM card subscription ranges from 50MB 30 Days for 7$ to 50G 360 Days for 229.90$. The Eufy security camera also has a great number of features such as 4k viewing both day and night, notifications to your phone with an optional small video clip of the movement it detected, 360 viewing with AI tracking meaning that once it detects someone it will follow their movement, two-way audio, light and sound alarm that you can activate on your phone and it is solar powered. These features are excellent because I can see who is at the site, hear what is happening, and scare unwanted trespassers without physically being there and not having to worry about the cameraโs battery running out. The Eufy app helps make it easy to control all these features by allowing you to control and move the camera from anywhere, allowing you to view live video, and if you wish you can record or screenshot a certain live moment and it will save to your phoneโs cloud. This helps you from having to physically go and move the camera by hand and having limited access to certain angles. In conclusion, I would 100% recommend this product. Especially for anyone who is looking for security cameras for an environment where Wi-Fi access and electricity are hard to access. Yes, there might be cheaper options out there but overall, the price matches what you are getting I have had the opportunity to try Night Owl and Google Nest cam, and I would 100% choose the Eufy security camera over both anytime.

Very easy to set up
I installed at my moms rural home her front gate is to far for wifi. Quickly registered the Eiot SIM card and it started working. It picks the strongest carrier automatically. Picture quality is excellent would definitely recommend. Great value at the price point and performance.

Mixed experience so far
The good: It was easier to setup and get online that the Reolink camera I purchased first, but never got working at all. Video quality is decent, and the app is mostly frictionless. I do like that I'll be able to use this on wifi at a later date if I choose, which was not an option with the Reolink. Cellular security cameras are a great concept, but all will have a lot of challenges. I know not to expect the same experience of a wired or even wifi security camera. The bad: The app will encourage you to subscribe to cloud backup - which I attempted to do. However it's a trap- Eufy DOES NOT support cloud storage for this camera. The app does not warn you or check before hand. You only find out AFTER you hand over your money that you don't have any compatible devices. Waiting on a refund from the play store... I get a lot of motion alerts for changing shadows on the ground, even with notifications turned on for just people and vehicles. Motion tracking doesn't seem to be an option either, but it's not clear whether it should. It frequently misses cars in the driveway until they have passed and at too far away to read a licence plate in the recorded clips. The mount for the camera is fairly simple, but VERY flimsy. There's no way provided to secure the camera to the mounting base to slow down a would be thief. Verizon won't allow me to add it to a data only iot line. They claim over and over that it's incompatible. Had to stick with the provided sim (which only works on Verizon in my area). Was really hoping to be able to have an 'unlimited' plan... But no dice. Not really Anker's fault, but annoying all the same, especially since they suggest in their faq's that it's an option.

Issue resolved
Seller Bau has been fully cooperative in resolving a return due to camera not compatible with Australian mobile network. Camera unit was suitable for US mobile network. Amazon should ensure products advertised on their platform are suitable for the relevant country.

Do not buy!
If purchasing to use as a 4G camera without wi-fi, don't bother. The sim card reader is faulty and does not read the sim that comes with it nor any other sim we tried. Eufy support is very hard to access within Australia and they really only offer general troubleshooting. However, it is confirmed that the error is with the camera itself. Camera works fine on wifi and the app is fine but if only going to use with wi-fi there are other Eufy cameras out there that offer more for a lower price point. Very expensive camera considering the flaws. There are cheaper and better options out there.
