Can we hook up more than one pair?

Nope. They cannot be daisy-chained like Xmas lights.

How do I know it's working? I put it in the sun and took the protective film off. Not sure how many times I pressed the power button. Is it charging?

I know it’s working when they light up at night. You might have to use and error for a couple of days pressing the button until they light up at dusk. You also have to make sure the sensor is in the sun during the day. Mine come on every night. I love them.

These lights are cute, nice light and easy to use. I ordered two strands, On one strand, half the lights on the strand stopped working after 2 months. They're inexpensive, so I guess you shouldn't expect them to last very long.

These are so inexpensive but they only last about a year. Most of the bulbs quit functioning after a year and they can't be replaced. They are a perfect size and length to put on my bridge and look beautiful while they work. Because they are so reasonable priced I just purchased another string.
