How to remove the black marks left on the ceramic rod after sharpening work?

To clean the ceramic surface, scrub in warm water using a mild brush and a kitchen cleansing powder. These marks do not affect the ceramic honing rod's sharpening performance

What are the advantages of the ceramic honing rod compared to the carbon steel rod?

Ceramic rods align knife edges more delicately for a sharper result, are harder than most steels, gently realign without quick wear, and last long under normal use.

What material types of knives can this product sharpen?

Sharpen most super hard knife steels, including non-stainless (D2, A2, W-2, 10-series, O1, Carbon V, 50100-B, 5160, CPM 10V) and stainless steels (420, 440A, 440C, 154CM, VG-10, S30V, S60V/S90V, 12C27, AUS-6/8/10, ATS-34, BG-42, Damascus).
