Fast enough, but with a cheap connection
I originally bought this for faster data transfer speeds, and it's fine for that. It also charges my phone quickly, so that's good too. But very quickly the connection didn't seem quite right. And within a few months it barely connected to my phone without a wiggle, a hard push and being at just the right angle. That's with me just plugging in things and walking away, not waving the phone around trying to use it while it's plugged in. I wouldn't buy it again for this reason.
