What is difference between "moderate" vs. Fast rod? Which one is less stiff?

Its a matter of where the rod is stiff, not how much. A fast rod bends more towards the tip, the rest is stiffer. A moderate the whole rod bends.

This rod says it’s good for braid, is this statement true or does it cut through the eyelets?

Hi Mohammed, The Lure weight for the 5' Brutus is 1/32-1/4. As long as you stay within the weight you should not have a problem with the rod performance for jigging.
