Great replacement light. Compact but throws off a lot of light.

Our old light quit working after 8 or 10 years, we replaced it with this light. It’s bright and I love that it lights up the back yard!

i bought two of these since i have the same brand but different model, when one when out i replaced it with this one and the photocell is bad because the light does not work, and too late to return, beware , thats why they were so inexpensive compared to the other model from the same company

We have always respected the brand Lithonia when it comes to architectural lighting. This Dusk-To-Dawn Wall Pack LED light is perfect for the demands of a rugged outdoor exposure. We are using it to illuminate the entry and overhead door area of our metal equipment shed. When the sun goes down, this compact LED throws a lot of illumination. Constructed of cast aluminum with a polycarbonate lens, the likelihood of damage is nil if mounted correctly above the traffic flow of the entry. This fixture has a weather-sealed body that contains the driver for the LED and the related control connections for the dusk to dawn and light color selector switches. There are 2 screws located withing the recessed wiring connection area that probably gives access to these other connections, but why bother unless servicing a faulty control? There are 3 wires to hook up, power, neutral and ground. These connections are stored in the recess on the back of the fixture and are then rendered weatherproof by the raised ridge that overlaps the outdoor box mounting once the screw is tightened. We always over-engineer our work, so wish this connection point was further sealed against water and bug intrusion by a rubber gasket, but that is something easy to add if we'd like. The only other issue we have is the one-point-of-contact connection. There is a mounting strap that gets screwed to the electric box. Once the wiring connections are made, the light is then connected to the strap with a single screw that runs through the fixture. If tight enough, this connection should suffice. However, if given a stout blow or bump, the fixture can rotate on the wall around the single screw mount. If there was a rubber sealing gasket, it would conceivably provide enough traction to prevent movement in such a case.As mentioned, the dusk to dawn feature is switchable, so you can render it off if you want to control this light by a switch alone. The other button switches between light output color, so you can have 3 different colors of light 3,000K, 4,000K or 5,000K.The architectural bronze color is the standard for outdoor fixtures it seems, and the finish is anodized to the aluminum, so it shouldn't flake or chip off. This fixture augments the yard light from Lithonia, so it matches the look and color of one another. Great products.

I'm really happy with this Lithonia Lighting OLWP wall light. Admittedly, it's a black color finish and made of plastic. I found it easy to install, replacing a single-bulb wall light mounted to a post-type bracket installed over an outlet box. The mounting post used by this fixture is more akin to a long machine screw instead of a threaded, tubular post more commonly seen. In my situation, a sunrise-sunset timer powers both this wall light spot and a roof-mounted light fixture and the photocell isn't a major contributor. Fortunately, the light has no problem remembering the color temp/run mode selected when the power is cut-off by the timer.I found this LED fixture to be much brighter than the single bulb fixture I replaced. In fact, it makes me wonder if I even need the roof-mounted spotlight anymore. The top-mounted side buttons allow exploring three different color temperatures and the use of the dusk-dawn sensor or not. If I search for a complaint it would be that the installation pack included smaller wire nuts that aren't what I needed (able to fit two solid wires plus the stranded wire of the fixture) so I ended up using lever nuts. There were also some scuffs in the plastic housing that seemed related to the molding.As this is a Contractor Select package, the box is very light on printed documentation and installation instructions are found online.
