Well worth the money & got mine for the princely sum of £20. I like the versatility it gives you when de-clumping your fines & then so easy to stow using the provided holder. Simple to adjust, absolutely nothing not to like about it. I use after using a shaker (a bit anal i know) but the results are great.

This is a superb product. I'd purchased several cheaper Chinese made WDT tools with similar leg wires but nothing comes close to the distribution that this adjustable WDT tool gives..it's uncanny, the manner in which the grounds level themselves up after 2-3 stirs when the legs are spread apart slightly, versus the regular straight down legs of the cheaper (non-adjustable) versions. For any of you questioning why you would consider spending the significantly higher cost of this tool versus those cheaper (non adjustable) tools, my advice is; buy one and try it, the difference in your grounds will be profound and the extra cost inconsequential compared to the enhanced flavour and body of your espresso shots.

Simple and effective

As expected this is a superb WDT tool compared to the basic one I was using. The different needle position function is ideal for me. I use a Niche Zero so have to "scrape" fines from the wall of the collection vessel. Then open up the needles when coffee is in portafilter.

Nice stand. I don’t rate the splayed word, having used it. Works better just closed up and straight so the ability to splay them is redundant.

This WGT is one of the better ones on the market, but it isn't the best. But then again, the best comes with a hefty price. From the number of WGT's in my arsenal, this ranks right up there with the ones I have or could consider. The holder (magnet) is a little above average. Meaning it will hold the WGT without fear of losing it. It comes with extra needles, which is, if you ever used one, come in handy. It is fully adjustable so you can set the needles to the correct width when stirring the grinds. Small yet practical. The perfect size and shape for starting your coffee out right. This one in particular I use for the finer grinds as the needles can agitate them more effectively. Courser grinds not so much. Come cleaning time, this cleans rather well and simply hanging it back up will facilitate drying. Overall? Good choice for the beginner or professional alike. Solid, well designed, and perfect for almost any coffee use.
