Brilliant high power charger!
This is an incredibly good and quick laptop charger obviously designed with high amp capacity for some of the very industrious dell laptops in the i7 range or XPS laptops and the sort. It works excellently on the laptop I got it for too which is an older dell core2duo laptop that I just wanted for basic streaming stuff to an unconnected monitor. It works very well, laptop powers up quickly and the battery charges well when connected so nothing at all to complain about. Being a higher performance charger/PSU the block is quite large and heavy so if you don’t need the higher performance you may be better to go for something of the right size and current level in order to maintain your portability, but as that wasn’t a factor for me this one was ideal and works excellently.

A solid 240W power adapter that performs well
I needed the GVKRLXZ 240W AC Adapter for use with Dell Alienware and it's been an great replacement charger. It delivers a stable, reliable power supply and has had no trouble keeping up with the demands of a high-performance laptop, even during extended use. The build quality is solid, with a sturdy cable, well-made connector and a compact power brick that's easy enough to carry in a laptop bag. It charges consistently without excessive heat, and the adapter fits securely into the laptop's charging port. I also like its built-in safety features, including protection against over-voltage, over-current and short circuits, which provide extra reassurance during everyday use. The charger operates quietly, and the included mains power cable is a useful addition. Compatibility is impressive, covering a wide range of Dell Alienware, G-Series and Precision models, making it a practical replacement or spare charger for home, work or travel. Overall, this is a well-made 240W power adapter that performs exactly as expected, it is an an ideal replacement for a compatible Dell gaming or workstation laptop.

My Dell dock shows no loyalty to Dell adapters
This isn't an official Dell power adapter, but it is fully compatible, considerably cheaper, with more wattage than the genuine Dell replacement options available for my setup. The important question with third-party adapters is whether they actually behave like the real thing, and in my testing, this one does. It is a relatively thin, but long and wide, adapter. There is no getting away from the overall size of something capable of handling 240w, but it does look a little more refined than many power bricks thanks to the rounded corners. Connected to a Dell WD19TBS dock, my laptop immediately accepted it without any warnings or complaints. There was no BIOS message about a low-power or unrecognised adapter, it charges correctly within Windows, and all of the devices connected through the dock have worked flawlessly, without any dropouts or disconnections. The long cables on both sides are super useful, with the available length making the task of positioning much easier, and means you aren't forced to keep the power brick directly next to the socket or tucked away in an awkward location. The only thing I obviously cannot confirm at this stage is long-term lifespan. A power adapter is one of those products where only time will tell, and that is something I simply can't test within a Vine review period. What I can say is that based on the build quality, compatibility and performance during my testing, there is nothing here that gives me any immediate cause for concern. At the end of the day, a power adapter isn't something I want to think about. I plug it in, it works, and it disappears into the background - which is exactly what this has done.

Reliable 240W Replacement Charger for High Performance Laptops
This replacement power adapter has made a good first impression and has performed exactly as expected during testing with a compatible high performance laptop. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. The power brick feels solid and well assembled, with a durable outer casing that doesn’t flex under pressure. Both the mains lead and DC cable are a decent thickness, the strain relief at each end appears well reinforced, and the ferrite cores fitted to the cable should help reduce electrical interference while adding a little extra protection against signal noise. Performance has been reassuringly consistent. The adapter delivers the full 240W output required by more demanding gaming and workstation laptops, allowing the battery to charge while the system is under heavier CPU and GPU loads without the charging indicator repeatedly switching on and off. Voltage delivery has remained stable during use, and the adapter only became moderately warm, suggesting it is dissipating heat efficiently rather than running excessively hot. One feature I appreciate is the wide compatibility. Although purchased for a specific laptop, it’s useful knowing it also supports lower wattage compatible models thanks to the shared 19.5V output. That makes it a practical spare for home, work, or travel, particularly if you regularly move between locations and don’t want to keep unplugging your original charger. My only minor criticism is that, as expected with a genuine 240W power supply, the brick is fairly large and heavier than lower wattage adapters, so it isn’t the most compact option for carrying around every day. That’s really the trade-off for delivering this level of power. Overall, it has met my expectations. It provides stable power, feels well made, and appears to be a reliable replacement or backup adapter for compatible high performance laptops.

Solid spare charger with a shortish lead
I picked this up as a second charger for a Dell gaming laptop so the original one can stay at my desk. The 240W output and the 7.4mm barrel connector matched what I needed, and it powered the laptop normally without any awkward fit at the socket. In use it has been steady for browsing, charging and some gaming sessions. The brick does get warm, which I would expect with this wattage, but it has not become worryingly hot in my use. The connector feels firm enough and does not wobble if the laptop is nudged slightly. The main limitation is the supplied mains lead, which is only around 3.9 ft, so placement can be a bit restrictive if the wall socket is not close by. The adapter itself is also fairly chunky, again normal for a higher wattage unit. I treated the compatibility list as a guide and checked my own laptop wattage and connector before using it. As a spare or replacement for a matching Dell model, it has been practical and reliable so far.

A good solid charger and a good price.
I only have one gripe with this charger. It’s one of the photos. “Our certificate-pass the international security certification”. Okay, probably a mistranslation as both security and safety are the same word in Mandarin, but even if it said safety what reassurance does their message convey? What safety? And more importantly does this international security certification have a named provider? Other than that gripe this is a superb charger. At 240W it’s powerful enough to cope with any of the Alienware range. You don’t have to worry whether the charger is too big or too small for your equipment as it features PD (Power Delivery), which adjusts to supply the correct power regardless of what is plugged into it. Unlike a lot of chargers -at 10’-this GVKRLXZ version has a decent length of cable so extension cables or sitting on top of a socket is unnecessary. The charger is well made, solid and for £29.87, good value for money.

Robust, bulky & heavy replacement 7.4*5.0mm Dell round barrel power supply
240W AC Adapter Compatible with Dell Dell model specific power supply, delivers 240W via 19V & 12.3A, and older round power tip (7.4mm*5.0mm) Charger has decent thick cable to connect to PC, via a well protected outlet, and separate mains leads. Not UK 3 pin plug is fitted with a 13A fuse, 5A would be better. Charger is quite bulky (640g without mains lead, 840g with) and at 20*10*3cm it is large. In use its works fine, though can get warm has the expected safety symbols.
