Great for camping
Needed these for camping and none of the eggs broke when we put them in the cooler. It worked perfectly. The only negative thing I would say is I could not fit all the eggs. I was only able to fit 10 eggs instead of 12. I think I had medium size eggs.

Large eggs DO fit!
I really like this egg carrier. I bought it for camping, and even though several reviews said that it doesn’t fit large eggs, I disagree. I think it’s a matter of how you place the eggs in the crate. They come from the store with the “pointy” side down, but in this crate I placed them with the pointy side up, and a dozen large eggs fit just fine. It closed well, and it held up well with the weight of the dozen. Update: just took it on its first camping trip this weekend, and it held up really well in the cooler. Eggs arrived intact (see last picture),

I wish it was better but I’m happy…
1. The handle is incredibly flimsy. I do not think it could withstand being used to open the container. You would need to push the two snapped pieces apart. 2. I couldn’t fit an entire dozen of eggs. I could only get 10 in and I had to shift eggs around a few times to get a combo that allowed the eggs to sit next to one another. A whole dozen should simply fit. I’m okay with it for now because I’m also bringing a carton of egg whites camping but if I wasn’t, I’d be pretty upset. 3. The snaps to close the carton are small and seem strong enough but I can’t say that I believe they will hold up for long long term use but they will I think outlive the handle which is what matters since this is what helps protect your eggs. 4. The portion that holds the eggs, while not great for my whole dozen, does seem like my eggs will be protected as long as the latches hold up and I do not carelessly handle or crush it. But from bumps and general thoughtful packing, these eggs are way more secure than they would be in a standard carton. In all, I am actually satisfied but it could be better.

Perfect for a couples weekend.
works perfectly for a weekend of camping. Will need something larger for longer trips, but keeps the eggs safe while travelling. Great quality and great value.

Very nice
Hard to open but it keeps the eggs from breaking

Container works great.
Works great. Bought one to try it out on my camping trip. Used it last weekend and it kept the eggs secured. Put it in my Yeti 75 with other foods stacked around it. They need larger Qty cases, but I’ll just pick up another container for my next trip.

Looks the same, but much thinner now
This is made from very thin plastic. They look close to what we've had for years, so I don't know if they're a different company now, but I'm returning this and bought one from Coghlan's, It is made a little thicker. However, the hinge portion might hold up better on the Stansport. According to reviews the hinge works OK on the Coghlan's so I'll give it a try.

Fresh eggs don’t need refrigeration for at least a week
Perfect for Farm fresh eggs for Camping. Nothing like a farm fresh egg while section hiking the AT Appalachian Trail
