Is this chef knife dishawasher safe?

Never! The hot, soapy water will get in any small space between the handle and the blade and eventually loosen the handle and rust the blade, even most stainless steel blades because of the powerful detergent in the water. Also, the handle is wood coated in plastic. Eventually a dishwasher would destroy the handle. No matter what I cut, I clean the knife with a swipe or two with a soapy brush (keeping it away from the handle) and the quick rinse of the blade, and carefully dry it with a swipe of a dry towel. CAREFULLY!, I once cut my finger pretty bad from reaching too far down the blade while drying it.

Is this real damascus or just printed pattern?

Dear customer, It is not real Damascus steel but it is very sharp and a fairly good quality knife for the money. Our blades are made of High Carbon Stainless Steel , which is very strong and durable. We designed the blade pattern lasering engraved to make it looks beautiful and elegant. If you want to buy Damascus knife, please choose our Plume Series or Cloud Series.

do vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions) stick on the blade while slicing?

I have the 3.5" pairing knife which I use for cutting vegetables and also have the 8" Chef Knife... both knives I am more than happy. Nothing sticks and everything slices nicely.

YES, I often use this knife in my kitchen. The chef knife can do well in cooking, including cutting, chopping, dicing and slicing meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables.
