I used these 4080 T Slot Aluminum Extrusions to build a custom frame for my monitor setup, and they worked brilliantly! The 1000mm length was perfect for accommodating multiple monitors, and the solid construction offered excellent stability, which is exactly what I needed for a reliable, wobble-free setup. The black finish not only looks sleek but also adds a professional touch to the entire frame. The slots made it easy to position and secure brackets and accessories, allowing for a versatile, adjustable layout. Overall, these extrusions are ideal for DIY monitor frames or other high-load applications. Highly recommend! Each monitor is about 5-7 pounds.

More than just a 3D Printer part - I needed some structural supports for an awning off my Overlanding rig and these served the purpose wonderfully. Was able to align and bolt down without even having to drill a single hole. Has perfectly supported a 52lb awning through numerous offroad trips. Bravo!

Exactly what I needed, easy to work with on my Overland Build

I used these to add onto my sim racing rig. The space in the grooves is somewhat larger than my rig, but easily worked with. Very sturdy and rigid and perfect if you just need a couple pieces to add on.

Using as rails for DIY MFT with Dashboard Guide Rail Brackets. Brackets fit nicely. Drilled access holes to mount cross bars (2060 profiles) and legs (4040). Stretchers at top (2020 four sides) and bottom (2020 three sides) of legs for stability.

As expected, this extrusion is striaght, flat, and rigid, with factory cuts that were square in both planes, and an acceptably durable finish. I made it work for my project, but there are 2 major caveats: 1. The slots in this extrusion are deeper than "Euro Standard" profile, so spring-type T-Nuts won't hold their position. Plan on using slide-in T-nuts, or holding roll-ins with curved pliers or surgical clamps while inserting screws when attaching things away from the profile ends. 2. Be ready to spend a RIDICULOUS amount of time cleaning (or at least making the attempt) a surprising amount of aluminum shavings / dust (aka "Death Glitter") that clings for dear life to the interior surface of every void in the profile. I reccomend high-pressure air, followed by a round plastic bristle brush you can pull through the voids to get the bits the compressor can't reach. And depending on how critical removing all the shavings & dust are for your use, you might even need to use a garden hose.
