Zipp Service Course Bar Tape CX Black

Bought these to wrap the handlebars on my gravel bike. Easy, no issues with the wrap. It provides a good grip texture that is comfortable. It looks streamline and feels like quality tape.

Great bar tape, one of my two favorites. There is a rubbery silicone backing that not only helps stick when wrapping but also gives a noticeable amount of padding. Good grippy texture too

First time user of this tape. I've tried them all, 40+ years of riding. Goes on fairly easy. A bit of stretch to it, length is ample. No adhesive backing (gel). Grippy feel, you could ditch wearing gloves if you want. Feels similar to Lizard Skin DSP, but not as rough. No adhesive backing means you can take it off and start over if you mess up without tearing the tape. Wonder why this tape is not rated among the top handlebar tapes. Good value also. I used this tape on my fairly new Trek 2021 Domane + LT. Replacing the stock Bontrager Super Tack Perf tape. The Bontrager tape was a bit too sticky and mushy for me. This stuff is 3.5mm thick. Lots of padding, but installs easy for a thick tape. Usually thicker tape is harder to install, not this stuff. Good tape.

This is my go-to handlebar tape. It is easy to install, durable, grippy in the wet, and lasts longer than other tape I have used.

Finding quality bar tape is quite a maze these days, but look no further, this stuff is awesome! I ride primarily on the road and mix in hard pact gravel now and again. I have been riding with it for over a couple months now in the dry and the wet. In the wet is does not get soaked or slippery like other cork and gel tape I have used in the past. The raised bumps make it feel very secure against my finger tips. Applying it was a breeze. Stretches easily (I figure 8 behind the shifters) and the backing, while very tacky, does not leave any residue behind and can be easily lifted off if you mess up a bend. It's not the most cushioning tape, but I find the thickness more than adequate. The reality is your tire choice and the pressure you choose to run them at it going to make more difference than any tape will. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing, highly functional, and easily workable bar tape, then this tape is for you!

Pros: - nice feel - good adhesive - bar ends (plugs) included - tape included - logos helps wrapping, although it would help if the logos were closer to each other, so that you always see on Cons: - no hoods cover included (cut it yourself from the bar tape) - short, you have to stretch it quite hard and ive "only" a 42cm bar - rips easily when you do stretch it... - not as grippy as the similar specialized hd tape. Would I recommend it? it's ok, but I prefer the specialized hd tape, its longer, doesn't rip as easily, and grips better. Quite a few advantages if you ask me, for the exact same kind of bar tape.

This is the best tape. Right amount of grip, just the right amount of padding, and perfect amount of stretch! Only thing is the wording makes install a little bit more difficult in order to keep the orientation consistent. The finishing tape is also a bit too flashy with the white logos.

Delivered on time and in good shape. Went on better than most bar tapes I've tried. Was long enough to wrap the bars on two different bikes (one set per bike). After six months and about a thousand miles on one bike it is holding up well. Good grip and it looks good too.

This is slightly bobbly, high grip, reasonably thick, black bar tape. If that is what you are looking for, you are not going to go far wrong with this. I have wrapped the bars on my gravel bike with this and after many months it is still nice and comfy, nice and grippy and barely showing any signs of wear.

Es una cinta con muy buen acabado y un gran agarre. Al estilo de la marca de la competencia Lizard Skins. A priori parece más resistente que esta última, aunque habrá que comprobarlo con el paso del tiempo. Tiene un grosor medio, que para mi gusto personal es perfecto. Amortigua bastante pero sin hacer demasiado grueso el manillar. En definitiva, me encanta. Posiblemente repita cuando necesite cambiar de cinta y se lo recomendaré a mis amigos.

Qualitativ hochwertiges Lenkerband, welches durch die gedachte Verwendung im Bereich des Cyclecross besonders dick und gut gepolstert ist. Dadurch eignet es sich auch für Rennradfahrer, die auf etwas mehr Komfort stehen.
