Giant Print Reference Bible-NASB

This is a really nice version of the Bible - physically, I'm not commenting on the contents. I have many translations and wanted to read the NASB. This is a quality book, well bound and presented. The paper is thin (as per any Bible), in some light a little show through from the other side, but you have to look for it, it certainly does not detract from reading. The print is good, it is large print and so very easy to read. The cover is an imitation leather type material and is amazing. Soft, flexible and hard wearing - I actually prefer it to some of the premium Bible covers like goats skin. It is a big book so not for the jacket pocket, but I carry mine most places in a small bag, its not heavy just physically bigger than a 'novel' type book. If you want a NASB I would really recommend this one. The print size makes it easy to read - even with uncorrected vision and so a pleasure to read - I often find Bible print just a little too small to be comfortable for long periods of reading. There is a little space around the text to make the odd notes etc. but not a lot if you like to write in your Bible. As a quality 'go anywhere' Bible, easy to read in most lighting, and nice to hold because of the quality of the physical book this is a definite five stars.

No negatives for this bible. We wanted large print and this is exactly that and as a bonus the type face is dark which adds to it's readability. Verse by verse numbering so it is easy to find verses. Paragraphs are marked by blacker print. Leather type covers are fine and the bible is easy to handle. Years ago I used a NASB and then changed, more recently to NKJV, however I disliked some of the word use in the NKJV. The NASB is a 'breath of fresh air' in its' use of language and both my wife and I now prefer the NASB. We have now nearly read all of the new testament translation. Our exploration of the NASB old testament is relatively sparse at this time so our comments on interpretation of necessarily limited at the moment. If you need a large text, this is the best bible for ease of reading, and we enjoy the translation over other versions.

Great Bible good for everybody

Giant print - yes - but not leather bound, which is how Amazon advertise it. It's actually Leathertex which, in this case, I'm pretty sure is just a form of imitation leather. Though it's a very nice bible, I am disappointed and consider it to have been mis-sold.

Lockman Foundation is no longer producing this specific Bible so I purchased the last new one that I could find (from a different vendor) as a backup for me but always wanted another one for one of my pastors who likes this edition. The listing for this used Bible showed the condition as "Good" but I would say that it is better than that. Excellent or Like New would not be a stretch to describe this Bible. One of the intro pages (the one that is totally blank) had the corners folded in but are not torn. This edition of the NASB 1995 Bible has many resources in the back, is red letter, indexed and in verse format. The 14-point font makes it easy to read and words stand out more to me. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I already had two other NASB 95 editions with the giant print..16.5 font which I read daily. However I wanted to try an indexed version and this font is still very large at 14 point font. I absolutely enjoy and recommend this bible. I didn't need it but am so glad I ordered it. (might even order another and store away)(Update, I did order another :) Also, the cover on this bible feels great in the hand.

This is a lovely Bible. Am in my 90s and haven’t much strength left in my arms and hands, so it had become quite difficult to lug my study Bible to church and Bible Study. So happy I got this Bible without notes. It is still pretty heavy since I have to have giant print, so I purchased a nice Bible cover with a shoulder strap. This makes all the difference! Thank God!
