Fast and reliable SD drive
very good SD drive. I have had it for over a year now and data access is super fast. Downloading big files takes only seconds. Very sturdy, no issues with the cables and connections like I had with other cheaper SD drives in the past. This feels like a quality item.

Solid Samsung drive
4Tb of storage, reliable so far. Soft touch outer casing. Not quite sure how the metal 'carry' handle could be useful, bit big to be put on a key ring.

Tiny, tough and holds massive amounts of data
This SSD is ridiculously small for how much it holds. It is about the size of a matchbox and feels really rugged with the rubberised coating, so you can just chuck it in a laptop bag without worrying about it breaking. The transfer speeds are incredibly fast, even when moving massive 4K video files on a video shoot, it's rapid. A very reliable bit of kit for backing up important files on the go.

Portable SSD with decent speed but a caveat
Bought this to backup just about everything I have digitally. Drive looks well made (though the rubber coating is a dust magnet) and the read/write speeds, while not top-notch, is still decent enough for my needs. The surprising part being it cannot be securely erased, even with Samsung's own software. This means I can't simply wipe the drive and sell it on the used market a few years on. Hope Samsung will listen and address this in a firmware update.

Fast easy to use did not need formatting before use
I had previously purchased an SSD from a Chinese store, and it was terrible. So I looked on Amazon for a more robust device and liked the look of this one. I have been using it for a while, and it has not let me down. It is fast, enabling me to back up approximately 450 Gb of files in about three hours.

Very good
Works well - small footprint - all good

Works but slow
Easy to setup and use but real life data transfer speeds are painfully slow. Looks well made , small and easy to transport. Expensive for what it is given the slow performance

Great but a bit slow
Great, but noticeably slower than my T5 or T7, still fast though. I use this more as a backup for older file storage and keep my T5 and T7 for current video projects.

Versatile and sturdy for a Hard drive
Very portable and resistant. You can leave it inside your backpack for days, mixed with other objects, and it will not be damaged. Good info access speed. Easy and versatile usb cable to connect it to any device

Reasonably SMALL physically, but BIG memory wise--a superlative Solid State Device, and fast.
I wanted a 2T SSD remote SSD drive and had 3 1T-SanDisks so I tried their 2Tb unit....couldn't get it to access, not visually anyway (strangely it had audible access), just nada for any screen visual access) so I returned it and then tried Samsung'sT5 EVO 2Tbyte device just recently out. It worked great, fast and digitally accurate to a tee. Of course, the nature of digital. I can get a lot of data on it and am happy so far with it's performance. I'm going to test it further. Lots of testing. It's what I do. UPDATE; So far, so good on 2 Samsun 2Tb T5 EVO units.....compared with 2 out of 3 other multi-Tb (other brand) units NOT solid state, FAILING.....and irritating me to no end....because they were intended as 'backups' and when you lose THEM what are you supposed to do? UPDATE on 080825: This 'big memory' compact SSD remote drive certainly appears to be what I was looking for....for specific large memory uses, primarily for backups. They have shown (the 2 Tb's) very fast performance and of course, extremely large memory capacity. I'm tempted to progress on the backup task to the newer 4 or 8 Tb SSD's, since it seems that Samsung has it's act together on QUALITY CONTROL.......you know, don't you hate buy something in that price range and it dies from over-heating, or failure to access, etc? It's a fact that both high speed AND compact memories are major factors in that mode of failure....and when it's gone, it's gone. A computer repair owner friend of mine once told me that the small solid state SD cards would work perfectly right up to eventually failing suddenly (must use 'backup') and I believe it is due to excessive heat. I was used to the 1 Tb Samsung micro memory cards (as long as I didn't LOSE them!) and these 2+ Tb SSD devices are NOT, thus far, a disappointment. I hope any bigger ones I try out will be as dependable as the 2 Tb T5 EVO units have been so far. If the real big ones can handle the heat dissipation, which Samsung seems to have done while others not-so-much, (seen the off-brand 2Tb SSD cards discontinued?) as far as I'm concerned. I may soon be looking for one of those bigger T5 EVO's soon....worth a try, and it will be Samsung, thank you. Maybe they'll even be made in OUR country soon. Hope so, seriously.

Write / Read 250/365 MB/s
Connected via USB-C to my iMac 27 late 2014 I see pretty good speed. 4TB capacity is good to backup some files.

Great usb stick, need to turn of power control for usb hubs.
Happy with the storage device. Wished it came with usb c to usb a. But I purchased a mini adapter from ugreen which works great. Also purchased a protective pouch custom made for it and available here on Amazon. The speed is great, i won't give technicalities, but it's the fastest usb stuck I have. And I have alot. I am now planning to replace all other hdds internal and external. One issue was my usb hub would not detect it, it was the same with my wife's USB hub on her surface pro 4. We found that we need to disable power options from windows for the os to control the sleep etc for the power hub and that allows the USB. Hub to recieve more power and turn on. I will later experiment this with my wiiU if it can work on the single usb hub. Be nice to get ride of clunky hdds connected there. I also took another 8 tb usb stick from Samsung. Love this. Can dump all my old hdds and clutter.
