If you or someone you know wants to get into War Hammer 40K I recommend this magazine/book plus the starter set with 3 Infernus space marines & some paints & a brush. Not shown here, obviously ! This particular “book” has some nice art work & is self explanatory regarding a little bit about the 40K Universe. The 2 models you get, a space marines & a little tyranid are decent as you would expect & overall it’s a pretty good way of getting started in 40K plus it makes a nice present too.

This is an excellent product to dip your toes into Warhammer 40k. I really am just curious about the game, the lore, and miniatures. By purchasing this, I was able to familiarize myself a little more with the franchise. For me, the best part of this purchase was the magazine booklet. There is a bit of lore and introduction, and just some cool images. If you are just interested to see what it’s all about, then I highly recommend this product. Also, thanks to this purchase, I was able to realize that building an army is expensive and time consuming; this helped to set up real expectations for the game and its universe.

Now my husband can bore me more, possibly to death.

You really are buying this for the books, the models are great to practice on (Or use for parts, I converted mine to corpses to use on a dreadnought's base), really informative and gets the basics down to a tee.
