Works better than expected
Must have a cloud key or load the Ubiquiti controller on a PC in order to administrator the device. After that it has all the capabilities I was looking for except Teleport capabilities, yet the wiergard vpn works just as good if not better. Overall good device and would recommend!

Entry level network gear that just works
If you worked with ubiquiti systems the setup is easy. Yes the controller is not native but that is baked into the price. Their equipment just works, period

Excellent product. I can review any network security very easily and setup was pretty much instant.

A good quality device, but with somewhat limited performance.
This is a reliable product, but it doesn't provide as fast a connection as UXG-MAX. Details online comparing performance of various unifi router and gateway models are sketchy at best, but in my experience, the UXG-lite offered 1/2 to 1/3 the throughput of the UXG-max model and it was worth paying more for the higher model. At $60, this model represents good value for money. I replaced a $70 Asus router which of course could not be seen by the unifi software defined network so if you are in the unifi ecosystem, this unit is a good value. If you don't already have a cloud key or other unifi controller, a stand alone unit would be a better value such as one of ubiquiti's cloud gateways or even an asus router. I found this unit to be stable and compatible with my existing unifi setup, though I did decide to replace it with the more expensive model for higher throughput as well as the possibility of having a second WAN port for future use if I should decide to get one of those wireless home internet backup gizmos offered by cell phone companies.

Needs to be factory reset on every power loss
Every time the device would lose power I have to factory reset it. Doesn't matter if the controller is up and running it not.

Great low cost VPN router option.
The Ubiquiti Uni-fi system is tough to beat as a platform for small business networks. I have a number of deployments of this gateway with cloud keys and PC based controllers. Ton of features for the price.

Won't be using this.
Not sure how this one works, but I have been unable to adopt it or even update the software.

Not a Router.
Apparently this cannot actually function as a router by itself, you need some form of controller. Given that a Cloud gateway ultra is only $60 more and has a controller built in, and a controller is going to cost more then $60 unless you happen to already have one, I don't see much of a use case for this product.
