We ordered Pool Shock by Pyrock Chemical. The price was right and the best part was it’s delivered right to the door. The delivery date was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately on the day that we expected the delivery, we received a notification from Amazon that the delivery was delayed. The very next day, the seller reached out to us to ask if we had received our Pool Shock order. I replied and said that we had been notified that the delivery date had been pushed back 6 days. The seller soon responded and said the shipment was apparently lost. They offered a refund or replacement. I requested a replacement. Once again the seller promptly replied. We received the replacement Pool Shock the next day. Great price, and excellent customer service!

This shock does a great job for my large above ground pool! Very pleased and fast delivery.

DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I do not leave many reviews but i had to for this. You get what you pay for. First off it is like a solid block and you have to scrape it with a metal garden shovel to break it up. There are pieces of black plastic throughout. When you use it, this stuff is worthless. It clouds the water, it does not dissolve, it leaves little white particles floating on the surface of the pool and most of it sinks to the bottom, which in turn clogs up the filter. The worst part is it does not work!!! I used 3 times the recommended amount and the chlorine test still showed under 1 PPM. I do not know what is in this but it does not do anything. Water stays green tint until I use a different product. A one pound bag of shock of a different brand or a jug of liquid chlorine does way more than 6 pounds of this stuff. I have never felt more ripped off by any item i have bought. Amazon should stop selling this stuff, it is a rip off.

OUTSTANDING customer service! Remedy was above & beyond. This is a great product. I have ordered this in the past with excellent results & needed to restock when I opened my pool. Works well keeping pool water clean. Dealing with a seller with integrity makes it even better. Highly recommend. I will definitely reorder regularly.

This is not chlorine powder, it is granular chlorine, it doesn’t dissolve well in the pool. After putting a few “chlorine stains” in my pool, I started dissolving this stuff in a bucket of water, stirring it up for 5-10 minutes and then pouring in the mix. Other than that, It sanitizes well, but… stains.

This shock dissolves quickly and doesn’t contain stabilizer which can lead to chlorine “lock”. Container can be difficult to open but not as difficult as some other chlorine containers I’ve had in the past. The really cool thing about this chlorine is that the granules are in a plastic bag within the buckets so you have two opportunities to ensure that the product stays dry and airtight. If you’re new to pools and chlorine, this is important! I made the mistake one year of not ensuring that the container (another brand) was not tightly closed (mainly because it was hard for me to open) and left it in my shed over the winter like that. HUGE mistake. When I went into the shed in the spring, the chlorine smell was AWFUL and worse than that, everything in the shed made of metal was totally corroded. Lesson learned $$$ Anyhow, to make reopening the bucket easier, I use the flat end of my corkscrew. Works like a charm. You could probably also use a paint can opener. Price was EXCELLENT, delivery quick and the product works. Enjoy your pool!

The filler used does not dissolve and leaves a film of sediment on the bottom of the pool. When this sediment gets stirred up, it makes the water extremely cloudy.

Order missed getting picked up by carrier and after reaching out I got a replacement in only a couple of days. Hard to beat the price point for this product so I'm glad I wasn't dissapointed with the service!
