Unlike other stabilizer ethanol protectants, this one actually works! If the powers that be boost our pump gasoline to E15, all pre 2002 vehicles will need this or kiss your engine goodbye. Yes, I'm in that group with a 1995. Also great for jerry can storage of fuel. Follow instructions.

Arrived on time. Seems to help with lawnmowers starting easier especially after they sit for a few weeks. Has not caused any damage to my small engines not sure how would work in large vehicles.

Works as described

This additive is recommended by chickchanic on YouTube. I have been using this product in my push mower for over 2 years. I saw chickchanic add a capful to a tank of gas when she serviced push mowers. So far, my 5-year-old Troybilt mower still starts on the first pull. No engine stalling or surging. The only other thing I have to do to the mower is spray some carburetor cleaner into it upon first use every mowing season. Of course, change the oil and spark plug. This year the Briggs & Stratton 594058 Carburetor started to fail, thus causing the mower to not rev up to full throttle. The power loss caused the mower to not cut grass as well and gas to leak out of the engine cap and vent tube. Upon disassembling the carburetor, I was expecting to see the jets clogged. None of the three jets were clogged after 5 years of use. The culprit was the float needle assembly. The needle is rubber and apparently dried out enough to cause engine performance loss. I replaced the carburetor and added a shutoff valve. Now the push mower cuts grass as well as when new. Chickchanic recommended using this as a stabilizer. I now have it in four 5-gallon fuel cans that are used to fuel Zero Turn and various small engines.

I put this in every small engine fuel tank to preserve fuel and prevent water from getting into the tank. It also dissolves carbon deposits. Recommended by “Chickanic” also. Saves time money and frustration as Bre says.

I recently switched to this brand of fuel stabilizer, so I can NOT provide a long term assessment of its effectiveness, yet. But, I HAVE used this same company's other product, "Mechanic in a Bottle", & I know for sure that it does a great job of softening Rubber parts. So -- maybe this company can be trusted? The main reason I bought this particular brand of Stabilizer, is that it seems to do a good job of mixing with water in the gas. The YouTube channel "Chicanic" made some compelling arguments for using this product to mix with & burn out water in gas. With today's Ethanol gasoline, that can be a very important quality. I have an old hunting truck that does not get much use -- the gas sits in the tank for2-3 months, and the Ethanol WILL soak up water from the air -- East Texas is very humid. So, I'm adding this brand of Stabilizer to the tank to mix with the water at the bottom of the tank, so it can get burned up. I shoulda done this years ago -- I've already had to replace the metal gas tank once, because it rusted out at the bottom, where the water collects.
