My Wife has got to the stage that I need to lift her up out of her chair, which is difficult to do without hurting her especially when it is required several times a day. With this amazing cushion she doesn't need me there even. I chose this over an electric one because my Wife is hopeless with remote controls, this is self activating, such a clever piece of kit. She was a bit apprehensive about it at first but after a couple of days to get used to it & to adjust to the right amount of push-up she is over the moon about it. Take it everywhere & it works on almost any chair you can think of, highly recommended.

I wanted this to help my 94 year old Mother to stand up from her chair, but had to send it back for a refund. Just not strong enough, not that my Mother is heavy she is only 9 stone, just not enough control on the spring.

dont think it made much of a difference UNTIL i forgot to use it. It makes a huge difference. The heavier the user the slightly less the effectiveness but still its the difference in getting up or not. Portable (if you remember to take it with you, and you will regret forgetting it). I am 24st and this is one of the best things I`ve bought. Lost without it.

THE PRODUCT IS A GREAT AID TO HELP ME STAND AS I HAVE ATHRYTIS IN BOTH MY KNEES AND ANKLES. THE ONLY DISSAPPOINTMENT IS I PAID VAT ON THIS PRODUCT WHICH IN THE UK IS EXEMPT AND THE PROCESS TO CLAIM IT BACK FROM AMAZON IS LABOURIOUS DESPITE THE ASSISTANCE OF AN ABSLUTELY EFFICIENT AND POLITE LADY IN CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES

Very easy to set up. Very easy to use. I have one knee that was replaced three and half years ago, my other knee is not good, so l was putting a lot of pressure on my good leg, the seat raiser is so good at getting me up.

This is a great help for me as I have arthritis in my knees instead of struggling to get out of the chair with this aid it now comes easy for me an a lot less painful,I wished I'd bought it sooner I'm very pleased with it.

Broke within 3 weeks of using it. Unrepairable.

Need help ! This is really good but keeps getting stuck! Can I use WD 40 on it?
