I'm such a novice at this. I thought that the end of the pin that looks like a screw meant that I needed a small screwdriver, like you'd use for eyeglasses. But no, that's just where the pin is split to apply compression when it's squeezed or forced in place. So, a watch link removal kit like this Jorest kit is all I needed. It comes with instructions and extra parts. I adjusted three of my wife's watch bands quickly and easily. I had never noticed on a watch band those little arrows showing which way the pin is to be pushed. We used to go to stores and have this done when we'd buy a new watch band, but not everyone does this anymore. With this Jorest tool, it's easy. This is also a great price. I found others more expensive, that didn't even come with all that this kit has.

good adjustments for all strap sizes and shapes. Easy to use and has smaller tools that can be used for everything. Also has some extra pins for joining straps. Overall the quality is good, nice versatility. I am happy with the purchase.

Worked perfectly to adjust my watch band. Very easy to use

I purchased this to remove to links from my new Seiko watch. These tools worked great they had many sizes and options to quickly remove the links and reassemble. The only con for me, is the plastic they use for the dock has a cheaper feel to it. As if it was 3d printed which worries me for long term use of the tool, but for now it worked flawlessly and I am very happy.

Really impressed with how easy it was to use this kit, worked perfectly; I was able to resize 4 watches in the comfort of my own house in just about 10 minutes (at my local Zales jewelry store that would cost me about $50 per watch) however this cost $10 for as many uses as I need. Definitely saved a lot of money and time.

I had never adjusted watch bracelets before but I used this to take links out of 3 Bulova watches & 1 Invicta. The 2 Precisionist were extremely tight & bent two pins on the press, so I used one of the small punches provided & the little hammer to tap them out. I was also able to adjust the small micro adjustments on the 2 Precisionist watches. This little kit layed dor its self several times over. BTW, I had taken one of the Precisionist to Dunkins at the mall & the pins were so tight they quit and said fo to a full time jeweler. I tool the watch home amd tapped them out myself amd now all 4 of my watches fit EXCELLENT.

I went to the local mall and asked one of the three jewelry kiosks how much to resize a watch and was quoted $15, but the person needed to order "the kit." I Googled how much for a kit and discovered this one for a few bucks under $15. Needing an excuse to exercise my rusty mechanical skills, I chose this route as I'm not a fan of doing business at the mall. The watch I resized is a Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Dress Classic Crystal Bangle Watch. The watch band is very skinny and I was not able to use the vice part of the kit to push the link pins out. I had to use the smallest size punch and hammer. For this process the product worked flawlessly. I did use a little bit of masking tape for protecting the watch and it also aided in keeping the link pin centered on the hole of the plastic base slot. Using little taps, the link pin began to make its way through the hole and out the other side. It was effective and surprisingly enjoyable with a great dopamine release as the pin was pushed all the way through. My significant other has very petite wrists and I was able to size the watch just fine. Product quality is acceptable for this one-off resizing adventure, but remember: Treat plastic like it's made out of paper, metal like it's made out of plastic, and you'll do just fine.

The only negative thing I have to say are the attachments that go on the screw part feel cheap and they bend and break, BUTTTT the 3 metal ones that come in the package are amazing and will not bend and it’s super easy to use. Resized 15 watches in less than 30min
