Where I live, the environment is very muggy. My winters are 80 degrees, and my summers average 95 degrees. Mentally, there's no place I would rather be. However, physically, my body tells me I should be somewhere else, as I sweat, at the drop of a hat! Therefore, my shirts and pants must be light weight, breathable and, of course, stylish. This Daupanzees dashiki set meets all three. It is made of a lightweight polyester and spandex blend (98% polyester), is very comfortable, and looks great. It seems well made, with the seams sewn tight. That is very important, to me. It tells me a lot about the company, and the person who made it. Additionally, I really like the detailed stitching of the lace embroidery, on the top, and the elastic waistband, on the pants. This set is advertised as anti-wrinkle, stretchy, and is not supposed to shrink, nor fade. So far, I have seen this all to be true. I have washed it, in the machine, on the casual cycle, and have dried it, on the air dry cycle, without issue. This is my first dashiki. This thing is fun to wear.

It's hard to find outfits to wear to Indian functions. This one is actually quite passable, and has great embroidery. I know it is African and origin however, it has a lot of the same stitching that Indian outfits do. This one is also very comfortable, and moves easily. It doesn't feel scratchy or itchy on my skin. Washability is actually quite easy. I felt like the fabric was durable, I don't think it'll last for years and years, however I should be able to get at least 5 years out of this thing. The pants are comfortable, and soft.

I had an upcoming cultural event and needed something light weight and breathable for Florida. This set was awesome. I have also washed the set a couple of times and it still looks new. It will wrinkle easily but irons well. The size is correct. Overall satisfied.

This dashiki suit fits great and looks awesome! The fabric is lightweight and comfortable. I own a couple similar suits and this one looks a little nicer than the others. The price was reasonable and the suit is true to listed size.

This item came and was like 2 sizes too big. I could not wear it It said it was the right size was pretty disappointed. Don’t recommend

My husband said that this suit is perfect for our church's Black History Program honoring African Heritage month. The material of this suit is soft and flowy and looks great. The white accents did not fade in the wash, and it fits as advertised. It looks good on him as well.

It’s kinda ok. The material is not the greatest quality and the XL pants came up a bit short on my 6’3” slim built hubby. The color is also a little weird. It’s not gray, but more like a light silver.

I really like this African Dashiki suit! It is very comfortable and well made. It is a little large on me but I think its supposed to be like that. I have been wearing it a lot. The gold lace embroidery looks fabulous on the black fabric. It is really intricate and bright. I like getting the whole outfit together, shirt & pants. I'm really happy with this set.
