So helpful
So easy to use, and I love that it stores previous measurements in the app.

If you can afford it, do it
Amazing device - it is expensive, but when you consider the stress of inaccurate dosing, it pays for itself. Super easy to use, especially with some basic science foundation. Just follow the instructions. I have found it to be accurate, but you must consider a few things. First, dispensary products are not individually tested - they are batch tested. The product you get may not actually be the potency stated - so keep that in mind. Second, you really have to take care in the production of your product and the preparation of your sample. A cheesecloth filtered, oven-made extraction into bottom-shelf olive oil is very different from a 99% ethanol extraction performed and filtered in a sub-zero environment. Overall, a great machine that takes guesswork out of home made edibles.

Easy home test kit
I love that I can test my mixtures right in my own kitchen! It assembles and comes apart easily. Clean up is a breeze. The app comes in clutch with a built-in dosage calculator and journals where I can keep track of different mixtures I've tested.

Works great
Very easy and quick to use. Pretty accurate for the most part. Normally within .2 mg/ml.

Only for the rich and careless
Definitely not something ready to be sold. According to it after several test and even deluding the test and trying my herb would have to be 44% to make the butter 206.8 mg/TBPS. way over prince and definitely not accurate. Not to mention I'm on my 2nd one because when updating apparently the unit can totally freeze up and if you're outside the window of returns or exchange, you're screwed.

It's cool BUT
I wanted to love this product, I had dreams about what I could do with it. However it works off a light meter and shines through the sample tray for estimating your potency. This seems cool, there is a maximum potency it can test for and if your reading pops that, they *do* tell you how to dilute the sample. BIG BUT: This is an ESTIMATE. This is not a spectrograph reading. Also, it says to use 3-5 drops for a sample size. In MY lived experience with it of 10 batches of coconut mct based oil now, this overflows the tray and also triggers the over >15mg threshold. I have found you should use ONE drop and no more than ONE drop. This conflicts with their instructions which makes me question everything. Why do I question everything? Using their dilution method (which i had to dilute to 4x), my first batch came to 39mg a ml. GREAT! too bad i only used 7g of flower for 6 ounces of oil, meaning it is physically impossible for my flower to have that much total THC in only 7g. I use it in the way I described - 1 drop - but it should only ever be viewed as an estimate. Still, you do get a satisfying number to baseline things off of.

Very inaccurate
Consistently read over 15ppm CBD on lab tested samples of 8ppm Read between 4 and 6ppm on pure organic hemp oil Waste of money
