Accurate, and the Slope indicator and flag lock are a nice touch
Pros: Accuracy: Says it's got +/- 1 yard accuracy up to 600 yards. I only tested it to 250 yards, and it matched the markers on the fairways. Flag-Lock Focus with Pulse Vibration: The pulse vibration confirms when you've locked onto the flag. Nice. Continuous Scan: This feature automatically scans for the flag, even through sparse trees and other obstacles. Slope Function (Tournament Mode Switchable): Get adjusted yardages with the built-in slope indicator, but easily switch it off for tournament play. I won't be switching this off as I'm in no danger of entering any tournaments. :) Premium Features: 6x magnification, water and dustproof, and a nice design. Feels like a luxury rangefinder. Cons: Not the lowest price option: This rangefinder comes at a cost, so for casual golfers it may be a bit much. Learning Curve: The multiple features and settings can be a bit overwhelming at first and may require some time to get comfortable with the interface. Battery: Uses a CR2 battery; I have a ton of these as I also use them for my remote camera triggers, but otherwise they're not a battery you typically see at the store. Overall This rangefinder is top-of-the-line, and probably more for serious golfers who want pinpoint accuracy and some cool features. Promises precise yardages, flag-lock technology, and a premium feel. However, again it's not cheap and takes a bit to learn the features.

Okay. For the price.
It's seems to be accurate-ish, though from my playing around with it at the driving range with known distance markers, it seemed to be a yard off for every 50 yards, but who knows--maybe the markers are all off. But let's be honest--if you're game warrants being worried about accuracy to where +/- 2% is unacceptable, then you should be playing in the PGA tour and buying a much more expensive range finder (even though you can't use these on tour). But if you know your abilities with club selection, this can really help as it gives you not only distance, but also slope, and then gives you the distance you want to hit based on the slope compensation. An example in the manual shows what you'll see in the viewfinder where the flag is 99 yards away at an uphill slope of 6.2 degrees, and that you'd want to select a club for 108 yards. There are some tournaments where you're allowed to use rangefinders, but not slope, and you're able to disable the slope function of this rangefinder. There are also some conditions where the rangefinder won't work, like if it's foggy or raining, or it the target appears too small (flagstick at 500 yards, perhaps) or dark/non-reflective. It's all covered in the manual. The manual. Wow. I was left wondering why, with so many people in China who can understand, read and write English, why the manual reads the way it does, possibly worse than a google translate version. Since this is my first rangefinder I read the manual to understand how to use all of its functions, and came away frustrated, especially when trying to figure out what the page on slope compensation was saying. Which is funny, because I knew what it was trying to say, yet reading it only confused me. Figuring most of these are probably the same, I considered looking for the instructions on another company's website. Ultimately, I just took it out and kicked the tires on it to try and get a feel for it since it only has the two buttons. At any rate, this seems to be a decent enough rangefinder. It comes with everything you need to start using it, including a bag with carabiner, a CR2 battery, a lanyard, and a microfiber cloth.

Very accurate and useful for golf, archery or rifle shots!
The AOFAR GX-6F PRO Golf Rangefinder Update Version, with Slope and Angle Switch, Flag Lock with Pulse vibration is very accurate at providing distance measurement. It's extremely useful for golfer's, hunter's and long range rifle shooter's for identifying distance to target. Its ability to identify inclination and declination angle measurement data makes it an all-around measurement tool for multiple purposes. The vibratory feature is extremely nice to ensure the unit is functioning to remove questioning accuracy when needing a quick reading for taking a shot. It's very easy to use and only requires pointing the crosshair at a target and pushing a button to get an instant reading. It's sturdy and durable and capable of holding up to rough conditions in the field. It comes with a wrist lanyard and protective pouch that can be attached to a belt, binocular harness or backpack with ease. It also has a battery meter to let you know at a glance of your battery condition. It's easier to read than my higher cost Leupold range finder and every bit as accurate. I'm very pleased with the AOFAR GX-6F PRO Golf Rangefinder Update Version, with Slope and Angle Switch and consider it a great value in range finders!

Nice addition to my golf bag
Normally when I play golf, I rely on course distance measurements for club selection, however, not all courses have distance indicators that are easily found or used. And, let's face it, being a mere mortal, I'm not always sitting in the middle of the fairway where these markers are located. So, when I saw this item in the list of items I could review for you, I jumped at the chance! I have used this distance indicator a few times so far, and it's largely intuitive, though I still recommend taking a quick look at the users manual the first time or two. The rangefinder is small enough to fit easily into a zipper pocket in my bag. It's lightweight, so if you want to take this hiking or hunting, it's not a burden. The image is clear, and range distance is easily read. I find no faults with this rangefinder and recommend it highly. 5/5 stars!

can you find a better deal?
honestly though for what any half decent name brand range finder goes for can you find anything better even on amazon when comparing features and just all around feel of the range finder? id probably say no but hey that's just my opinion. again for the price I'm pretty happy with this purchase as i truly believe its a great deal. all the features seem to work and work pretty accurately. i tested against a few known name brands and got within 2-3 yards reading at most between this range finder and 3 of the top brands top models when testing outright no slop seeing the pin which is pretty insane honestly. it does seem to be a bit more off when using slope settings and what not but even still it only seemed to be at worst 5 yards off from the big brands. the big thing you will notice when buying cheaper amazon range finders is that they feel and most times tend to look like kids toys once you have them in your hand. just the plastics that they use for the outer shells and the all around weight and feel in the hand is just off even if you never pick up a name branded range finder you would notice the difference but this one in particular is much heavier then any other amazon range finder I've used and just larger in general making for a decent feel in the hand but even still slightly missing something when you hold it i wont lie. the only thing that makes this struggle is when trying to take a reading into direct sunlight past 100 yards out it can be difficult to read the yardage thankfully it locked the last reading so you can turn away and read it. other then that i have no real complaints its a great range finder at a great price that doesn't feel like some cheap junk that is actually pretty damn accurate!
