Ban Invisible Roll-On Aluminum-Free AHA Deodorant for Women and Men, Aluminum Free, 48-Hour Odor Protection, Unscented, 2.3 Oz

I loved this deodorant! For me, it worked really well at controlling odor for at least 6 hours before I had to reapply (this is the same amount of time Lume works for me before I have to reapply, for reference, and I have never had any deodorant or antiperspirant, whether clinical strength or whatever it was, completely keep odor away for more than 8 hours when I’ve been stress sweating). So this was really amazing for me! It kept me completely stink free for that amount of time. Also, this didn’t irritate my sensitive skin (I’ve had a lot of really bad reactions to deodorants and antiperspirants, so this was a concern for me). I was looking for a deodorant to replace Lume because it’s so expensive. And honestly,I felt like this one worked better than Lume. And not just for the price. If Lume and this were the same price, I would still choose this over Lume. Yes, I still had to reapply, but I felt like I smelled better longer before having to reapply vs Lume. That being said, I really appreciate that this product is actually affordable. It’s becoming harder and harder to find quality products that are non toxic, actually work, and don’t cost a small fortune. The texture of this deodorant wasn’t a big deal for me either (and again it actually bothered me slightly less than Lume). It was a tiny bit sticky but nothing that bothered me and it dried quickly (I have a lot of sensitivities to sensations and I was worried seeing some of the reviews mentioning stickiness, but it wasn’t very noticeable to me). This product also didn’t stain or accumulate on my clothes like a lot of deodorants and antiperspirants do. Also, the smell of this unscented product was much more pleasant to me than unscented Lume. This one wasn’t off-putting to me at all. There was something about it that I actually kind of liked. The only problem with this product is something that won’t be a problem for most people, but I wanted to bring it up because it’s the reason I can’t use it anymore. I’m really sad about it because I really love this deodorant! It’s my favorite out of all deodorants I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried A LOT over the years). The problem is that it contains soy, and I discovered that I have a soy allergy. I was told to stop using any products (including skin and hair products) containing soy, and so this one had to go too. But I’m so sad about it because, other than that, for me this was the best deodorant I’ve ever found! I know we’re all different and not everything works for everyone the same way, especially when it comes to deodorant, but I would definitely consider giving this a try if you’re on the fence about it and don’t have a problem with soy.

I have used the original ban for years and years. I love it. It works so well and I never smell and it’s very effective. I bought this because it looked like a fancier easier to travel version with nicer scents. I hate it. It’s awful. It says 48 hours… no. Unless I’m constantly reapplying it does not work and I smell off constantly. Worse I brought it for traveling and now I smell off for the whole trip and stuck with this until I get home. Not sure what they did differently for this but I hate it and will never buy again.

I was looking for an aluminum free deodorant that would work, and I found it! Ban roll on really does work too eliminate odor! In addition, it is a TSA approved size.

I really wanted to like this product. I've been searching and searching for a product that keeps you odor free without reapplication all day, and doesn't stink to high heaven. I love the application. It's a tube with a rollerball very easy to use goes on quickly. Does take a few minutes to dry. I just usually stand in front of the fan. There is no scent. And no mess on my clothes or my bra. However I only applied once, and by dinner time, I was quite stinky. This product was reasonably priced so I was hoping it would work. And it's a great size for the product. But I'll have to go back to my $13 deodorant.

Saw this advertised on good morning America on a special products episode, as a favorite product among the stars.! 🙄 let’s start with. It’s a wet roll on product that takes too long to dry. At the end of the day, I can smell my stinky armpits. Not impressed.

Doesn’t work well. A bit stinky by the end of the day. I have another deodorant that is just witch hazel and it works great. This one has a bunch of other ingredients that I assume are unnatural. Maybe if I had time to reapply and change my shirt, but that isn’t practical.

This roll-on Ban has a pleasant smell, but, my underarms do sweat. They didn’t sweat with the regular Ban roll-on, but, I don’t believe it’s as safe as the aluminum-free AHA deodorant. So, I’m sticking with the aluminum-free Ban, and hope it works as well in the hot summer! Thank you.
