Cool puzzle. Not too hard, but challenging enough to keep them going for awhile. Great stocking stuffers.

Was a gift for brother in-law who loved puzzles. It was a lot smaller than expected. Arrived delayed and was horrible experience. Had to get customer service involved. But the delay was on Amazon. Not the mfr.

Having solved it, $18 is a bit much for it. Interesting while it lasted though.

I really love puzzles like this. I have several Hanayama puzzles as well as puzzle boxes by iDventure and Esc Welt as well as a few others. This fits right in with that collection, though it's a little simpler than some of the others. This is rated at 6/10 and says it can be solved in about 20 minutes, which seems pretty accurate. That puts it at about the same difficulty as a Level 3 Hanayama. It took me about 10 minutes of fiddling on and off for a minute or two at a time, then about 10 minutes of actually working on it to get it open. Now that I know the secret I can remove the ring in about a minute or less. There's one secret needed to solve the puzzle, so it's not as layered as some others are, but the mechanism and construction of the puzzle are good enough to add Puzzle Potato to my list of trusted puzzle makers. They have a few larger puzzles that I'll have to check out, too. I only had one small issue with this and it wasn't with the puzzle itself. I actually had to order it twice because the first copy sent got crushed in transit. It was only packaged in a bubble bag and looks like something heavy got dropped on it or the van door closed on it. The cardboard tube package the puzzle comes in is sturdy, but not that sturdy.

These little puzzle type tricks are fun for everyone to figure out.

I saw this puzzle in about 15 seconds. Very disappointing.

The puzzle is well made and fairly sturdy. Sadly it was delivered to me in a semi-solved state which made it very easy to figure out and the reason for lower star rating. Regardless it is a nice addition to my puzzle collection and will be a good one to leave out for guests to solve
