Used and did not work well
Not all that happy with this. The first thing that happened when I attached my drill and spun the pump...water came out. That tells me it was a used product because I had NOT used this pump on any fluid at all. I was sitting there putting everything together before using it when this happened. I decided to go ahead and try it because I NEEDED to use it (that is why I ordered it). I can say that it is very slow...VERY slow. And if you stop the drill, you may not get the fluid to start pumping again. I do not know if it vapor locks or looses its prime...but it takes some effort to get fluid moving again. If you need to reposition the siphon hose...good luck! The shaft is fairly hard to turn. And it may take more hands than you have to operate this pump. 1 to hold the drill, 1 to hold the pump. Now, who holds the siphon hose, and who holds the outlet hose? You can NOT turn loose of the pump or it will wind everything around itself and sling anything that may be inside all over you (ask me how I know). Common sense is that you have to hold it. But with as stiff as it is to turn, it is not an easy task. It can easily slip from your grasp. I guess the fact that it had water inside when I got it set the tone for much of how I feel. But I believe it was likely returned because of the same experiences I had! It did not do much to change how I felt initially. So I am thinking it is just not a very good item to start with. Then add on that it was used, nope, I can not recommend this.

It works good enough
Works. Kinda cheap kinda slow but I think itโs close to the advertised speed so canโt complain there.

Good price but doesn't pump very quickly
This is a very inexpensive pump, but the company's rating for gallons per hour is overly optimistic. It took the pump around 15-20 minutes to pump 3-4 gallons from a water tank to a sprayer tank, which isn't close to the rating. It pumps, but don't be in a hurry.

Very short usable life
Cheap Chinese Crap! It worked ok the first time I used it, but when I tried to use it a year later it would not pump at all, Even after I primed it. If you can buy a Wayne's pump, buy that. I still have one that's 20 years old that works.

I took a chance on this
It wont work for my application, but that is not the fault of the product nor the seller. I will find another use for it.

Doesn't work with Ryobi
Doesn't work with a Ryobi and the return window is short if you get busy and forget to return it like I did. Anyone want to buy one?

So far so good
Seems to work well. I use it to drain water out of my boat bilge. The supplied 1/4 line makes the process slow, I will try a garden hose on the infeed in the future. When received, the pump felt seized, it took some torque to get it to turn the first time. Some fluid came out at this time. Others claim this proves the pump is used but I suspect the manufacturer is testing it before packaging. The pump didnโt show any signs of wear or tear out of the package. For what it is I think it does a good job.

Do NOT purchase
Absolute piece of garbage! I tried to pump out a fish tank. It worked for 30 seconds and then turned to a dribble. Do not buy this pump, you're better off with a plug in electric pump.
