I am very new to lap looming. Love this shuttle. Would give it a 20 star review if they allowed. I would like this same shuttle in a smaller size Maybe 3/4 of what it is now. Glides so smoothly over the warp.

Beautifully made. And easy to use

I make rag rugs. I used either a plastic comb with a curled hook end as a shuttle or my fingers before buying this. I love the feel of the wooden shuttle as it’s slightly thicker and smoother than a comb and of course, saves your fingertips from repeated friction. I don’t wrap my rag ribbons around it as they are too thick. The center groove is still nice to have as it provides a “grip” for my fingers to grasp.

This is one of those tools that is a joy to feel in your hand! As a Weaver, I'm a tactile person and the dips and curves of this shuttle are so beautiful, and just wonderful to run your fingers over. It functions effectively and holds a fair amount of fiber. I'm very happy with it!

I got this weaving tool to help me make a tree net, which works fantastically! Initially, I was worried it wouldn’t hold much string, but its capacity pleasantly surprised me. It’s easy to use, sturdy, and it made my project so mucch easier.
