tesa® Insect Stop Hook & Loop Standard for Doors, Insect Screen - easy to mount, white, 2x 65cm x 220cm

Just put this up today & I’m really pleased with the outcome. It’s super easy and quick to put up. There is no instructions leaflet inside the box but the illustrations on the back of the box is really easy to understand even if it’s not in English. Just make sure to clean the area you plan to stick the hook & loop tape to. I used alcohol rub but I think window cleaner will be fine too. I choose the white version as I wanted to be able to see the insects on it before going back into the house as most insects are dark in colour/black. Plus the white allows light to come into my kitchen as the kitchen is at the back of the house & it is in the shade most of the day. I know the white will get really dirty but come winter, I can take it down & put it in the wash (gentle cycle). I prefer this overlapped style as I have a toddler & didn’t want my child getting hit by the magnet closures sold by other brands and/or if it’s really windy outside. At least with this style, it’s just the 2 weights at the bottom so there is very little chance of causing any issues for my toddler. It’s a little long so I just trimmed some off the bottom. I think there is a fair amount of tape provided. The tape itself is not very wide but there is enough/extra to use in areas that need more reinforcement. I even asked my husband who is over 6ft to walk in & out of it, and he had no issues. Bye bye flies!

Quality ok, does the job but weigh down the bottom edge, supplied plastic weights not the best

Lightweight product supplied with a length of sticky tape and weights. The length of sticky tape goes right around the upvc door frame and sticks better than a previous (different) one I had. The face of the tape is a sort of velcro and the net sticks on to that. There are 2 see-through plastic weights which go on the bottom but they aren't heavy enough to keep the net closed in any kind of wind. Magnets would probably work better. Other than that small issue it does the job of keeping flies out very well.

Wonderful product, I installed it completely against the given instructions, cut it to size and mounted behind the window frame, and there are no issues. It cuts well and doesn't fray too much. The tape supplied is perfect, as you'd expect from Tesa. I would've liked more tape for the size, however for the price I cannot complain.

Easy to use and install but actually totally useless and the breeze keeps blowing it open and flies still get in. It keeps falling down, the tape keeps coming off the grease/dirt free door frame. You really need two people. One to hold it up and one to cut each piece to the correct size. Trying to do it alone is nye on impossible. The instructions are only in unclear pictures. I would go for a magnetic one like I got for my second door. Much easier to fit up by one person and far more effective.

Was not practical to use and asked for a refund, which was given with no problems.

We bought it for our conservatory doors couldn't find one at the correct width the two strips were ideal we can only open one door if required.

Very difficult to fix on the wall neatly and even more difficult to hold it on to the wall if it is not super sleek. I had to use tapes from another one in extra to be able to fix these as it’s own tape alone wouldn’t hold. Plus, very difficult to get it decent looking

La resistenza dei teli è molto alta, sono facilissimi da installare (io li ho montati davanti alle inferriate esterne) e grazie al nastro in dotazione si attaccano saldamente alla superficie e non si staccano nel tempo. Contenta di aver acquistato questo prodotto, fa perfettamente il suo dovere. E' un'ottima soluzione alternativa per chi non può o non vuole installare le zanzariere professionali.
