I have been using there two products for about 20 years in row! Not switching to anything else. Love it. Best ever. Quality, fantastic service, awesome ironing experience. Saves sooo much time and effort! Absolute love.

Laura Star makes a good, reliable product. This is our second one after we used the previous one 16 years and had it repaired twice. These come with a "water conditioner" cartridge that is supposed to prevent scale build up. Unfortunately, these cartridges are super expensive at 3 for around $80 dollars. They also cause the iron to perform badly. They offer so much resistance that the water won't flow through them and the iron constantly thinks it is out of water even though the tank is full. We took this out and now the iron performs like a Laura Star should. Avoid the cartridges. 12/17/2024 Update. Well we have owned this iron only 1 1/2 years. This iron is only warranted for one year, and unfortunately, just after the warranty was up the unit failed completely with a foul smell of something electrical burning. Unit went completely dead. I might have expected that from a lesser iron, but LuadraStar used to build a quality product, but apparently not any more. For a $1000+ product to fail in a little over a year is really unacceptable. I had a previous LauraStar product that lasted over 15 years. Clearly the quality is not the same. Very disappointed. I would not recommend.

When I opened the box containing the product, I noticed something was very wrong. The steam generator was completely dirty and the sealing rubber of the drain was damaged. Besides that, the metallic part of the drain screw had signs of being worn out. There were deposits of limescale all over the surface of the iron and when I turned it on, the device took more than 10 minutes consuming electricity without producing any steam whatsoever.
