Works perfectly, easy installation
I bought 4 units to replace broken tilters that came originally with the blinds. The installation was real easy, in fact I replaced 3 in less than 30 minutes. My blinds are made by Faux Wood Blinds (Grand Wood 2" Plantation Style, 6 ft. wide by 4 ft. long) and the fit was perfect. Parts are well made and I personally liked that the gears and sprocket are made of metal thus will last longer, Someone mentioned in a comment that the metal parts made it harder to close and open the blinds than the plastic ones, neither my wife or myself found them any harder but even if it was harder to turn I rather have them last longer with metal gears and sprocket. Tips: 1) Make sure that you align the flats in the gear and socket when installing tilter into hexagon shaft otherwise it will be hard to insert tilter into shaft. 2) You might also want to purchase a pack of CLEAR Valance Clips for Window Blind Valance (10 Pack) for $6.69 if you have a valance to cover the blind track. The valance is held by plastic clips and there is a good chance they will break when removing the valance and blind to replace the tilter.

Blind saver
Great fit and awesome quality, really easy to install and the price was just way a better option that to replace the whole blind. Recommended

Great for the price! - but shipping took longer
Works great. Internal metal workings. No problems. Product as described. Amazon said shipping would only take 2 to 3 days but it actually took 10 days. That was OK since i wanted these with metal mechanism and was willing to wait.

Exact Replacement, Metal Gears
Fit as exact replacement for blinds throughout our home. The originals used plastic gears many of which eventually became brittle and broke. These have metal gears and look like they will last forever. Seems like at least some of them turn in the opposite direction from what we're used to and they are a little harder to turn than the originals. Trick for us on installing was to work around the long metal axle. At first I was pushing it down through the turning mechanisms but found that's not necessary. You can pop the mechanisms up while you install these then line the axle up with the hole in this item as you put it into place.

Easy order / Easy Fix
If your header is 2 1/4 inches wide x 1.5 inches tall, this is the mechanism you need - super easy fix - part even has a metal gear rather than the plastic one - ordered on a Tuesday and received on a Saturday - installed, then re-hung the the header blind, put the wand back on - blinds are properly tilting again - mission accomplished - and above all, Happy Wife !!!!

100% Completed Repair of Blinds
Purchased multiple 2" custom blinds online about a decade ago with no issues. Recently, a houseguest turned the twist rod in the wrong direction and cracked the wand assembly. Reached out to several blind repair companies and quoted over $300 for house visit! This item is an exact replacement for the broken tilt mechanism. Sturdy plastic shell with metal innards. A two minute YouTube video turned this expensive job into a simple 15 minute project. Awesome quality. Awesome price! Happy to receive TWO mechanisms, with a spare for any future issues. Do not let guests touch your blinds!

save money - fix it yourself
I fixed my blinds easily and inexpensively. No special tools required. I thought I might have to replace the blinds but decided to do a web search "blind repair parts" as everything is on the internet. Even things you didn't know existed. The instructions were clear and the part fit perfectly. Just make sure you get the right size and the right kind of drive hole. Measure your head rail so you get it right - no guessing. After I got the blinds reinstalled on the window the wand tilter drive was a little stiff. But after a few times it's fine. I like that the gear and drive are metal. The old one was all plastic and part of the screw drive was broken off as plastic does with age and wear. You might as well order valance clips now. Either when you take the valance off or try to put it back on, some are going to break.

Left or right handed? / Turn wand clockwise / counterclockwise? Rotate backwards / forward?
Aug 16th, 2020: Great product. Metal parts take a lot of torque on them and wont break. But there's a small catch. The older plastic tilter I replaced would close the blinds when I turned the wand counterclockwise. Whereas this one closes them when I turn the wand clockwise. There's nothing about it in the description. Oct 3rd, 2020: Update: I thought I would replace all the plastic ones on my remaining windows and make all windows uniform and ordered the same product the second time. To my surprise, the items in the second order rotated like the plastic ones I was replacing i.e. opposite direction of the first order. I not only observe that my first order (Sold by: Component Depot) rotates backwards, but also has metal rivets to fasten the enclosure and is slightly stiffer. Whereas the ones in the second order (Sold by: JCblinds) which rotate forward, has inbuilt clips (molded as you see in the product picture) to fasten the enclosures and is more free to rotate. So, I think we just gamble on which way they tilt. I am reluctantly reducing my stars to 3 from 5 as there is nothing about the direction of rotation in the description. Oct 8th 2020: See pictures comparing the one with rivets with the one with clips. Notice the worm screw between the two are 3D mirror-images of one another. You just cannot do anything about these and they will only turn the pinion with the hex hole in opposite directions. I happen read about someone tried to flips the pinion in vain to change the direction. Please don't waste time trying those. Also notice, the one with clips (without rivets) has some extra square holding the 2 halves (and is broken). See another picture with its worm screw being rough with the metal molding split being visible. So, when you turn this one, it is not smooth. Whereas the one with rivets is smooth as the worm screw is good. In summary, even though the one with rivets turns the opposite way (to the plastic ones I replaced), I seem to prefer it for its better quality.

Good quality
Fit perfectly. Made of more durable materials than the original part, even. Surprisingly easy to install; just looked up YouTube videos. Glad it came in package of 2, as not long after I got it, I broke another one. My originals have a plastic part that holds the hook, and over time it becomes brittle and breaks easily, whereas the new part is metal. Would buy again, if needed for other blinds.

Really constructed well.
These are great, slipped right into the blinds and are working so smoothly. I have the Home Depot 2โ wide faux wood blinds. I did not want to have to replace blinds as we are selling and (have just sold our house ) they wanted the blinds which did not work right. Everyone is happy now.

Great.........
Arrived in a timely manner and rec'd both items as stated in the sellers information. Item was a perfect fit and the blinds are working again. Metal parts inside as opposed to plastic cranks in the original should last much longer. Great purchase and saved replacing expensive blinds.

heavy duty wand tilter
this part is exact size as the original and to my surprise the package came with 2 of them in it. i can see why they are referred to as heavy duty because the gear mechanism is not plastic like the original. this definitely should last a lot longer then the original one. am very pleased with this purchase.

Good value for the price
The quality of the product is very good and the price very reasonable. I had to replace a wand tilter on a heavy set of wood blinds and the wand titer is performing the task very easily.
