Got a yeast infection, and didn’t want the inconvenience of going to a doctor paying co-pay fees and prescription prices. I went to my local CVS and gave it a try. I saw from previous reviews it gives you an intense burn and itch, so I braced myself for what I was about to possibly endure. Although I didn’t have time to do it at night I made a bad decision to try it a few hours before work. Well I inserted the ovule and about 30 mins later the burning and itching began. And yes it was INTENSE. It was more of a super itchy super sting than burning. I sat on the toilet and saw the ovule medication was oozing out of me and made quite a mess. I used the itch relief cream almost all over, and I can say it actually soothed me to where I could tolerate it and get ready for work. I showered to clean up the mess the ovule left and reapplied the itch relief cream. I put on a pad to keep the medication from leaking all over my undies and I actually made it to work without having super discomfort. The next day my yeast infection symptoms were 90% better, there was still discharge from the medication and slightly from the infection and the itching happened every few hours for a few moments. The day after, all of the medication was just about done coming out but i saw the medication then began to come out in a yellowish tinted color versus the white. I assume that’s normal of the medication to change color after clumping out of my body for 48 hours, by this time the itch was completely gone. Finally on day 3 no more medication leakage, no discharge or discomfort. I inserted my finger to check to see if I have any discharge and there was absolutely none just a tiny white speck. By the end of my week I’m back to normal down there! So overall ladies just brace yourself and know that you will burn and itch INTENSELY once you insert the medication, so do it when you don’t have to work and can stay indoors to stay clean down there.

I only gave it 3 stars as i just used this product for the first time this morning. I got immediate relief from this. I was hesitant to use inserts as i dont even use tampons but i was very pleasantly surprised at how easy this is to use. I know it says to use at night but I couldn’t go another day without relief. I put it in and went about my day. 3 hours in and I haven’t had any burning or anything from the cream insert so far. Also no discharge from cream yet.

This is a great relief! Gonna be honest a few hours after inserting you will feel burning and itching as the medicine works. But then it all goes away! Hours later you'll feel cured. Just be prepared for it to be worse before it's better. Highly recommend!
