Great pen
$5 bucks a pen is a tad bit steep, however, so far, I LOVE THEM.. they truly help me on those days where my arthritis is bothering me more than usual. I use them every day at work and home. I’m a Medical Assistant, so I do write quite a bit. I’ll update on how long the ink last for me. .

Love
My grandma with arthritis loves these fat pens. I don’t have any issues with my hand but love them too

Does NOT write well, if at all for very long. More of a gag gift.
Barely leaves a mark on the page and runs dry while you write, all three. Constantly have to re-prime by having a blank page to scribble on to get the ink flowing again. Glad I played around with them before trying to write into something important. You get about five words or so before the thing stops writing and you have to scribble in the margins HARD to get it to write again. You get what you pay for so there is that. It's more of a gag gift type of thing as it stands right now. Wouldn't consider it for anything important. IF it actually wrote properly, it would be just what I needed. Looking through my old pens to find an ink tube to replace the one in it with.

These pens made writing easy
These pens are great. I have had carpal Tunnel surgery many years ago and now in my late 60’s I have some arthritis in my fingers. Writing with a regular size pen made my hands and fingers cramp. These pens have made writing an ease now. I totally recommend them.

Fat Pens
Some months ago I fell and broke my wrist, on my dominant right side, causing permanent damage to my hand, wrist, and arm. I’ve been an artist devoted to painting most of my life. I have also always enjoyed handwriting. Everything injured was drastically affected. Friends and Physical Therapists insisted I needed to run out and buy “fat pens” because I had almost no grip left in my hand anymore. They said it would allow me to paint and write again more normally, helping me with my grip. Unfortunately the fat pens did neither. I tried several kinds. They were a disappointment and expensive. The pens were mechanically fine, but they did not live up to hype about how they would help.

A pen that fits the hand.
I'm having to write with my nondominate hand after breaking my dominate arm. The fat pen works much better for me. The grip is better with a soft, squeezable lower barrel. The upper portion is shaped to fit in my hand perfectly for support and control. Using an ordinary pen would allow my hand to move uncontrollably and cause scribbled handwriting. These fat pens do not. I expect they would work as well for arthritic hands. They come with a long ribbon attached which can be slipped over the head to keep the pen handy and not misplaced.

They’re ok - still didn’t work for troubled hands. Could be the hands and not the pens.
Big. Awkward. But work ok

NOT weighted
The size is good, but they are not weighted. I wanted weighted pens, so i will have to order different pens.
