Excellent value for the money
I was happily surprised by the overall quality of these bibs. I love Castelli because I've found that the quality is very consistent, and even their less-expensive offerings are typically of high quality, and these bibs don't deviate from that formula. My only problem with Castelli is getting the right size. They seem to make everything in "pro fit" which doesn't translate well to the average rider. When wearing brands like Pearl Izumi and others, I am typically a Large (L) in just about everything. With Castelli, I have to try them on to ensure the best fit, and I'm always jumping up at least a size or two. No different with these bibs. I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds, and I had to bump up to XL for a perfect fit, even though all my Pearl Izumi Attack bibs are L. In any case, the pad is very, very comfortable and my very first ride on it was two hours on a stationary bike trainer, where I was sitting most of the time. Super comfortable, and even better on long outdoor rides. The legs grip well, and the straps are light on the shoulders without the back sagging. Very pleased with these bibs, especially considering that I usually pay $100 for a pair of Pearl Izumi Attack bibs. Great value, great fit and great Castelli styling. As for peeling decals, I avoid that by hanging them to dry after washing, rather than putting them in a dryer. They're installed with heat, and heat will slowly make them peel off. Decals last a lot longer when you don't put the bibs in a hot dryer.

Comfortable and quality material. Good leg length.
Comfortable padding that's a good thickness. Material is quality and conforms to the body well. Leg length is good an not too short like other bibs. I'm 6'1" 175lbs and XL fits almost perfectly.

Tight at first, fits well after first decent ride.
2-11-2026 It seems well made. I've tried it on once and it felt well padded. My only complaint is that the straps are pretty tight on my shoulders. I'm 5ft 9in and 260lbs roughly. So I'm probably pushing it's design capabilities. I would have given this 5 stars if the 3XL was made to fit an 2XL man. It's tight if you're not a thin individual. Otherwise, I like it. Maybe they should make a 4XL for the people like me that need a little more room. 2-12-2026 I need to update my comment from yesterday. Yes, it was initially snug. But after putting in a 45 minute interval workout yesterday, I can say that it stretches just enough to fit comfortably, provides excellent padding, and I have absolutely no complaints now. It wasn't tight around my legs, the seams didn't cut into my legs, it was just comfortable. And it was nice riding knowing my backside wasn't showing! So, buy it.

Get these for daily use, not anything cheaper.
Quality bib shorts are an absolute necessity for any regular cycling. Assos, Eliel, Hincapie, etc., all great brands, I have many of them. BUT they are delicate, expensive and they wear out. You fall off your bike *once* in a split second you can ruin hundreds of dollars worth of lycra. My a** at least heals, lycra not so much. Castelli is a name brand too, but has this entry level line of neutral bib shorts. Is it good enough for serious racing and training? Absolutely. Why you want these is they fit and perform just like $300 pro cycling shorts but they cost ~$70, which is a steal. I figured if they last a season, I'm good. Now two years later (~2000 miles just on these shorts?) the wear signs they are showing are a slight failure of the pad stitching right in the inner thigh/crotchal region. That's where also the very expensive ones wear out too. Stretch stitching just doesn't stand up to that kind of abuse at any price point. I get them sewed and then they last a few more years. These have standard bib short fit and construction *unlike* the cheaper ones I bought on amazon (with names I can't pronounce). I just bought my second pair. In the 2026 version the pad stitching seems a bit more robust at the same price point. I honestly don't know why I would buy anything fancier than this unless as part of a team buy. Five stars for Castelli.

Great shorts for the price
For the price, these are really tough to beat! They are nice and comfortable, and reasonably durable. I’ve owned a few pair and use them for both mountain and road biking.

might not fit correctly
So far when I tried bib on it seems too short in the legs and the Chamois seems too small. Maybe it won't be enough coverage on bottom. I'm 5'10", 152 pounds just average size and weight. I don't know why it is so difficult finding a Bib that works

Mido 1.77 m y peso 75 Kg.
