Great that you can get high quality cables cut to the length you require and delivered the next day.Needed a short piece to install and outside socket backing onto an existing ringmain. This cable was perfect, high quality solid core 2.5mm with thick insulation. States the outer diameter is 11.2mm I think but I used a 10mm masonry and wiggled it a bit and that was fine, that was through your standard concrete block and using the hammer on the drill, this tends to oversize holes slightly anyway.

Good cable for external use, it is not armoured, it has two thick coatings of rubber. I wanted it to fix to an external wall and did the trick no problem, I would not bury it as it is not strong enough to guard against an errant spade!

Built a shed to store mobility scooters and needed power from house to shed for a socket and a light I needed tough cable but didn't want to pay the price of SWA as the cable would be buried under concrete I came across this cable by this seller and ordered it the socket and light is now wired in I found this cable east to strip and terminate will be ordering again to hook electric up to a greenhouse

Couple of things to note about this cable before purchasing. Although the insulation is strong and is double thickness, it isn't armoured with steel strands between the insulating sleeves. I believe that is what one would expect of armoured cable. That said, the outer insulation sleeve is a hard and durable covering and will suffice for most over and underground domestic use subject to it being buried in a no dig area. The other point which is not made clear unless you scan the small print, these cables are constructed of solid copper conductive wires. It therefore is not a cable to be used flexibly like as a lawn mower power cable but ideally suited to a hard wired external 13amp socket.

The cable is "ok" but not really "Tuff"It is not 10mm outer diameter either it is 8.5mm. So rather flimsy outdoor cable.

El cable cumple con lo prometido, es de 2,5 mm2 y parece de buena calidad. La pega es que no es válido para fabricar un alargador, como era mi intención, porque cada cable es de un solo hilo (en la descripción pone "conductor de cobre sólido") y es bastante rígido. Así que prestad atención porque puede valer para una instalación fija en la pared pero no es lo suficientemente flexible como para usarlo como alargador. Le doy las cinco estrellas porque lo indica en la descripción y no lo vi al comprarlo.

No trae tres cables de 2,5mm, sino de 1mm. No me vale para nada. Comprarlo ha sido un error.

No especifica que es cobre, yo lo quería para ponerlo en un recogecables de rollo y no me vale por que es muy rígido. Por eso una estrella
