Great for Shelling
These were great for shelling in rough water where you could see the shell but couldn’t grab in with your hand. I was very pleased with them, they held up very well. Would definitely recommend.

Sand Sifters for shelling -highly recommended
I bought this set a while ago for my seaside holiday. I just finished using these shell scoops -sand sifters almost everyday for two weeks. These are great. I got an added bonus from mine. I’m an older woman and I found having the scoop pole gave me a bit of extra stability when I was walking in the waves at shore, plus getting any shells I was spotting. If the sand in the scoop is wet you need to put it in shallow water to rinse off any shells you can’t see. Dry sand is perfect though.

Rockhounding helper
I imagine that these would work well for shell hunting, but we actually used them for rockhounding on Lake Superior. They worked perfectly and were great for snatching those rocks in the frigid water. The fact that they are lightweight and are adjustable made them a great choice for hiking to a great spot.

Good product!
These arrived exactly when expected. We are looking forward to using them this summer on the beach. The handles have a very strong rubber smell that lingered even after soaking in baking soda mixture and leaving in the sun for several days.
