Most of all what I liked about it is the quality material it's constructed of. Heavy duty steel and it supports my 270 pounds weight when I need to use it as a step getting up in the bed of my pickup. As far as the it's visibility, well the LED array is truly bright and anyone in traffic directly behind me that can not see it, especially when the brakes are applied, when I am signal a left or right turn or emergency flashers, well that driver would have to be, as we say in the South, BLIND IN ONE EYE AND CAN'T SEE OUT OF THE OTHER, to miss my intentions to slowdown, stop or turn. Hooking up to my pickup truck's electrical wiring sytem through the tow bar was simple and easy. One can't go wrong in purchasing this item. I know I am well pleased with my purchasing of it.

I have been looking for a step like this for years. I have purchased lights. I have purchased steps. I have now finally found what I wanted all along, a lighted step and it works just like I wanted. It gives another way of safety and protection as well as being useful as a step. It fits perfectly into the hitch and is of great quality. It is very visible because it is so bright. It is a great lighted step!!!

Pros: Very sturdy made, finish is good, lights are bright and seem they are going to work well.Cons: Very loose in hitch(had to make a shim out duct tape so it doesn't rattle, most all hitches are thesame size. maybe provide shimes.).White wire goes where? I'm guessing back up light.(nothing in manual)No phone number or emailMight buy another one if they make some refinements, time will tell overall.

Just put it in the receiver and plug it up!! Becomes a Fourth Brake Light AND a step to get in or reach the bed of your truck. Easy and a better alternative to the "bolt on" type of step.

It works as advertised, BUT the vehicle see's it as a wiring problem and constantly sets off a trailer alarm. One moment it's seen as a fault the next it's a 20T trailer.

Very sturdy feeling, and durable feeling. Its heavy for something so small but it think that's a good thing if you want it to last. Would recommend.

Lock pins don’t fit- wiring is is far too long. I’m not sure this is DOT compliant to be honest I would not be surprised if I got a ticket for the brightness
