Used for 2 of our band shows so far. And this thing is incredible! I’m able to add & remove effects on the fly to make my voice in our live shows sound like our studio recordings! I used a similar boss pedal for solo acoustic shows, but the ve22 blows it out of the water.

There are so many different effects and user presets the compressor is awesome I’m very happy to add this to my gear. Worth every penny

So many different settings. Fairly easy to figure out for the basic. So many affects and options.

this puts out much better tones than entry-level vocal pedals. 4 stars not 5 because it requires learning some significant menu diving. would be better if you could do all that in Boss Tone studio.

Well built and easy to use. Many options for vocal harmonies. As usual for such devices many sound a bit artificial. One would have to spend 10 times this amount to get a professional grade vocalizer. Most of the effects I will never use but there are a few I will. It is well laid out and accessible from the finger tap to a foot pedal. Many variations in effects you can use. I like it and will use it for all my performances.

I decided to upgrade after my VE-2 died mid-show. I ordered the VE-22 and was extremely disappointed in the sounds of the harmonies and lack of control of the mix. Plus you can't run your guitar through it to avoid having to set the key for each song. It seemed like so much more work involved for crappier sounding harmonies. Just stick with the VE-2. That's what I'm doing!

Amazon did a great thing for me on a defective product! I bought a Boss VE-22 foot pedal from Amazon on Nov 18, 2025. Because of holidays and illness, I did not open the box until about Feb 14, 2025. I put the batteries in and turned the pedal on. It immediately began to smoke and get very hot. It was defective. It was brand new and unuseable. I wrote to Amazon and told them about it. They called me and first told me that the return window date had come and gone. They gave me a link to Boss.com. I tried that and left a note on the Boss website. Boss does not make it easy and obvious to report a defective product. I was getting nowhere. After 24 hours had past, the Amazon representative, who had helped me a day or 2 before, called me. She said since the product was defective, that she would grant me a full refund upon return of the defective product to Amazon. She worked with me on the phone for several minutes. She was very polite. Her name was Pavi. She sent me a return authorization and a complete refund confirmation with all details. All I had to do was return the item to Amazon. I will do that today. I was very grateful and impressed that Amazon stood behind the product. That endears me more and increases my confidence to continue to regularly purchase from Amazon. Great policy!!

Excellent for video conferencing.

Amazing product, makes my singing bearable. It has vibrato effect that makes my singing sound amazing! The only complain is that you can not combine Pitch Correction and Vibrato effect, it's either one or the other.
