I use the product to make ice cream shakes it makes shacked taste better. I have looked at grocery stores everywhere and could not find. Thanks Amazon for having the product

This took me back to the 60's sitting on the red leather covered round stool at the drug store counter ordering a chocolate malt wearing my bobby sox & saddle oxfords. To you young people let me say this. This Carnation malt powder is delicious!. It blends well with ice cream & a bit of milk. I have to rein myself in or I would be drinking a giant shake daily & be bigger than the house! Amazon keep this in stock. I will be back again & again.

This is the only brand that has never changed its recipe in decades, it tastes great always.

I have been a malted milk lover for over 50 years. I love it so much I can eat it plain by the spoonful, which my kids think is weird. I grew up on Horlick's Malted Milk tablets and powder which was made in nearby Racine Wisconsin for decades but was sold to GlaxoSmithKline and it is no longer marketed in the United States. Carnation Malted Milk powder is just as good, and actually mixes better with cold milk than the current Horlick's product. You can find other brands of malted milk powder (I have tried every brand I could find), but none are better than Carnation even though they cost more. If you have never had a chocolate malt I feel sorry for you and encourage you to try one. The best chocolate malts are made with vanilla ice cream, milk, malt powder, and chocolate syrup (Hershey's is preferred by me). Malts made with chocolate ice cream or chocolate flavored malt powder should be avoided. If you order one somewhere, make sure they make it using vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.

when i bought the large container it didn't quite have the original flavor. especially when stirring, the mixing and taste felt "sandy". next i bought set of three 13oz and everything was perfect... this one was as sandyish as the 40oz one. go figure.
