Is this item fragrance free? I remember a pleasant smelling one from years ago but on the box it says fagrance free.

Yes. It's fragrance free. It has tha zinc smell, but not so strong.

The last 3 I have purchased were dated 02/2018 and 04/2018.

It depends on when you bought it, it is on the box and it's on the edge of the tube (very small but it is there) the krippled edge. Hope this helps
