Amazon Fresh Decaf Colombia Ground Coffee, Medium Roast, 12 Ounce

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Will be my new favorite decaf. No stomach surprises.

I've been using this to make coldbrew. The results are fantastic. Smooth taste. No bitterness. Full flavor. All hard to find in decaf. Highly recommend this coffee.

Hello, this coffee is extremely good for the price. I've been ordering it for several years and this time around, many of the coffee beans were not ground. So inside the bag, there is mostly ground coffee with a fair number of whole beans. Not sure how that could have happened, but it is forcing me to pick those out and grind them separately. Quality control seems to be slipping...

This was the first decaf coffee I’ve ever bought, as well as the first Amazon branded coffee, and I was really surprised by how good it was. I’m normally into pretty fancy, expensive coffee that I put in my Moka pot or French press. I decided to buy this to mix with my regular coffee in order to cut back on caffeine. I was expecting a slight reduction in flavor, but I was surprised that some blends/ratios actually tasted BETTER than my normal coffee! I even started drinking it on its own and I find it to be fairly smooth and roasted well enough to have a nice amount of oiliness and richness which still maintaining some of the light acidity and fruitiness you expect from medium roast coffee. As a person who normally drinks $14-16 bags of specialty coffee, I found this to be a great and very enjoyable coffee for very cheap. Helpful for stocking up a vacation rental, blending with other coffees to create a “half-caff,” or even just a standard drinker. Works well in my moka pot.

Decent quality for the price, definitely lighter in flavor/roast than I would like but it doesn't give me heart palpitations/jitters like the other "decaf" coffees I've tried. The taste is alright, not too strong or acidic, but it doesn't prevent me making a second cup later in the day. Overall, it's helping me with my coffee/caffeine withdrawal and helps me continue my morning coffee routine.

Hard to compare between Amz Decaf Columbia vs Village Favorite decaf. They have a taste of their own. Definitely does come off as decaf with both. At the same time, they're both better than a lot of decaf if you put in the right amount of sweetener, milk and etc. It's not lacking or bland. You do feel a background missing. I would recommend either one if you want decaf and be able to taste it. Don't think either one is Swiss water process which means it's done without chemicals. No idea of the farm origin which is what makes it cheaper. It cost more for them to trace it back to the farm as a way to support the farmers. But it comes down to budget vs how you feel about farmers getting better income. As for tasty enough to stand out and have me drink more, no. It's not the same after you try a long list of specialty coffee. Decaf doesn't offer the same options. Choices are very lacking in the decaf dept. If you're new to decaf and you wonder which one is worth trying, don't think you can go wrong with Amz one or Village Favorite. Make it cold brew concentrate and dilute to your liking. Make it concentrated and make sure to add more water to the grounds and 2nd or 3rd time to extract the rest. Cold is bold. This applies to both coffee and tea. The flavor is stronger when it's cold vs hot. Hot mutes the flavor. In terms of Amz Fresh coffee, they're not bad. To think of price, the way it taste, over all value, Amz Fresh isn't bad. Much better than most of the brands you see in stores that have been around for a long time. Beats Folgers and similar brands (Blue Mtn, Dunkin, McD, every other brand in a pod). All those brands taste burnt. In terms of of over all value for pretty good coffee decaf or reg, it's not bad. If I had a choice, I rather trace it to farmer and know they're doing better.

I like this coffee . When I first got it there was only 1 pack instead of 3 . Well 2 days later after contacting I have a box of 3 . Thanks Amazon for making it right. Thats why I shop Amazon

I’ve had to reduce my coffee intake due to caffeine overload. This tastes fine on its own but I also mix half half with straight coffee. The best taste I think, comes from cold brew. Cold brew: Just mix 3/4 c grounds with 6 c water and let sit overnite and stir or shake occasionally. Strain and keep in fridge in a mason jar. You can enjoy the cold coffee as is but it’s easily heated up. Will reorder again and put on SS once I figure out my usage schedule. Good price.
